Perla Dental Uxbridge

I can’t say enough good things about Perla Dental. This is coming from a very nervous Nelly! I have been going to Perla for just about a year now and I am always so impressed with the compassion & caring that I receive there. From the moment I walk in the door I am greeted by Brandy who is so friendly and welcoming to Michelle my dental hygienist who is very gentle, proficient and actually explains what she is doing(and keeps me laughing) to Dr Sara who makes me feel calm and so looked after. I would highly recommend checking them out. You will not be disappointed. Kelly B

I hadn't been to the dentist in many years so I was feeling pretty anxious. Thankfully I had a great first appointment today. Brandy at the front desk was kind and professional, Dr. Sara took her time reviewing the recommended treatment, and Michelle made my teeth feel so clean. The office offers direct billing to insurance which is an added bonus. Looking forward to my next visit.

As a very long standing patient at Perla Dental, I have always been extremely happy with the treatment received. Dr. Sara has a great deal of compassion and really cares about her patients. I rely on and trust Dr. Sara's advice on required procedures and her work has always been perfect. I would recommend dental health care by Dr. Sara to anyone and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I'm not one to ever write reviews for businesses online, but I felt compelled to because of the excellent level of care I have received from Perla Dental in Uxbridge.I have had many traumatic experiences with other dentists and so I am usually quite phobic. I made an appointment because I could tell by past experience that I needed a root canal. Adding to my anxiety is the fact that I am pregnant which complicates how care is provided.From the moment I arrived I felt at ease. I love the all-female staff, the clean and modern office and all the consideration that went into making sure clients are comfortable (massage chair, TV, windows, etc.).Dr. Sara did not rush me whatsoever. She took the time to really consult with me, explain all of the risks and benefits, and what to prioritize. We decided together on a treatment plan and I felt 100% cared for and that she only had my best interest in mind.I was referred to an excellent Endodontist that completed my root canal in 20 minutes pain free. Trust me...worth every penny!Amanda at the front desk also goes above and beyond. So kind, caring and helpful. Love this place. :)

Not impressed. Had infected loose tooth. Needed pan exray and extraction thats all. I was told everything would be done in one day. They took full series of bit exrays and exam. Not what I needed as my tooth needed attention.They say I had cancelled 3 appointments. In reality, one they cancelled for emergency another for overlooking and one I had to cancel for windows being installed which I had to wait for 7 months, no choice. Had to get one more window they are antique. This office did not care. When I called to see if there is anything we I was told I cancelled 3 already and she was not nice about it. Life happens and it was only 1 time I cancelled. She needs to take ownership of her mistakes. No names mentioned as I am not that mean.Just make sure you get what you need. Just be careful who you trust.

I was referred through my husbands employer, and I am SO happy I tried out Perla! Dr Sarah is so kind and gentle and explains everything and ensures you are comfortable throughout your appointment. Brandy the receptionist is one of the amazing people and will always greet you with a smile and amazing conversation, all the Hygienists are also very gentle and it’s an added bonus that they will submit your insurance for you when available. Highly recommend the team at Perla !!!

It was great, as autistic person, that the receptionist that had been there during my previous appointment had made a note to remind me to bring my headphones. I was given a reminder by text before heading there, so I grabbed mine and walked over. The dental cleaning experience went fine...better some than usual or previously, because of getting to listen to music a Spotify playlist of my preference, by using their wifi.The costliness though, was the bad part. We/i unfortunately hadn't gotten any health insurance set up in time for it to apply for that day, and the bill was one I considered a hefty price. And unfortunately the insurance couldn't be applied any other day, other than That day of the appointment.

Perla Dental Uxbridge has been caring for our family of 5 for the last few years. Along with amazing and friendly dental care, they keep us organized by sending personalized reminders to all 5 of us within our busy schedule.Anytime I have a question or need assistance they seem to fit us in asap. If you are looking for a dental office, call them and they will offer you top notch service!

5 star Reception, 5 Star hygenist, butMinus 5 for dentist and owners for over charging and unnecessary $ add ons, like multiple X-rays and time blocks, & having to ‘come back another day’ instead of finishing the work on the actual day, booked’.Cash grab. Dentist also likes to charge you to ‘look again’ and then redirect you elsewhere due to level of difficulty,,,,,,, they needed a second charge to figure that out?Do I smell referral fee ?This time the ‘referral’ backfired as theirs was on holiday, so I went to one of my choosing, who proceeded to tell me, the work that I was there for, should have been done by any local dentist as there was no extra difficulty, standard procedure.No gas or any extreme measures were taken to fix the tooth, yet perla felt it was too difficult for them? They said I was going to require sleep dentistry, and a specialist…. Nope.The procedure was quick and easy…..My opinion is if you don’t have insurance…… find a different dentist.I am regardless. It’s a shame, because like I said the reception and hygenists are fantastic but they don’t make the rules.
