George and Tom and the team are the best. I’ve been taking my car to them for years. Fast, professional, friendly service, and fair pricing, all clearly explained. Couldn’t ask for more. Tom most recently gave me excellent advice on buying winter tires for my new car, and George has many a time come out to quickly resolve my small issues and sent me on my way without charge. Wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else.

I can't say enough great things about every aspect of my experience taking my new-to-me but quite old car to Don Valley Auto, after a different auto shop missed some key safety issues during an inspection. George was straightforward, very efficient and kind. He even showed my 5 year old how to use a tire gauge, which was a highlight of his summer. If you need a reliable honest mechanic (who doesn't?), and need the job done right, call George for an appointment. This auto shop is an absolute Toronto gem!

I've had two experiences so far with George and he has been straight forward and made sure everything I needed was done efficiently and at a great price. They say the best people for the job are busy and that is true of DV Auto. They are ALWAYS busy which means a LOT of people trust them with their vehicles. I am proud to count myself as one of those people.Update: Know when you attempt to do something on your car and find yourself in trouble? YEP, happened to me. Drove down to see George and although they were busy as usual, Corey found the time to fix me up and get me on my way. These guys don't deserve 5 stars...they deserve 10.

Pretty rude. Condescending attitude. Got brakes done and they were still noisy after I left and they said that’ll go away - it didn’t. Called to get them looked at and they said they’re booked up for a month and basically to go eff myself so not going back.

These guys are great - quick work at reasonable rates and a deserved reputation for honesty.

George and Tom (and their staff) are wonderful. They are good guys who are deserving of their customers and high ratings.They've been my parent's go to mechanic for as long as I can remember, when my dad mentioned to them that I was looking for a car, they recommended a local dealership that they find trustworthy, they did a safety check, and called me to tell me their honest thoughts on the car I chose. There were many many calls back and forth between George and I, he took the time for explanations and to answer my many questions despite his incredibly faced paced days. Once I bought the vehicle he even went as far as to invite me to the garage to give me a quick lesson on checking fluids, tires, ABS, and dash lights - to make sure I felt empowered as a first - time car owner.As others have said, these guys run a fast paced business. If you are new to them, do not take their quick phone calls as a sign of anything other than their efficiency. They have tonnes of loyal customers (for a reason), and are trying (and succeeding) to provide service with quick turn around times to everyone who needs it.While it feels like they are always moving quickly when I drop off my car in the AM, the buzz has usually settled when I come back to pick it up, and I've never felt rushed out, and most times have a quick catch up session with Tom, and a few laughs with George if he's not in the garage.

Don Valley Auto Centre is a one stop shop with everything you need mechanically . I have been using George as my mechanic for over 35 years. This shop treats you like your something special. They are honest and they are reasonable when it comes to your wallet. Tell them Blake sent you.

George is the best and most honest mechanic out there. Unfortunately, he is in a battle with Metrolinks to reclaim the other half of his garage. I recommend him highly.

They are popular but if you book well in advance and get an early appointment; make a point of hanging in the waiting room and watch a business treats everyone that comes through the door like a trusted neighbour.
