Green Gardens Trail
Not so fun hike but great coastal views rewarded at the end. Be sure to visit Steve Cove a bit further north when you arrive by the end, it's also well worth it.

Green Gardens Trail
WOW. Steep hike downhill means a strenuous uphill return, but but so worth it. You will hike through what felt like several mini biotopes as you descend to the beach. Sit at the edge of an oceanside cliff as you contemplate your life decisions that led you to the base of this mountain (that you now have to climb back up). Take the treacherous stairs down to the beach if you dare. Possibly my favorite hike of all time.This should probably be your first hike of the day if you're not used to this level of (uphill) hiking.

It would be pretty if sunny. It's different for sure, lots to see, but if you've been all over Newfoundland hiking, you might not think this is extra special and worth the 8km commute there and back, as the trail is pretty average. There's a reason locals didn't mention green gardens when we said we're going to Gros Morne

Green Gardens Trail
Amazing hike with very rewarding views at the end. They have recently redone the approach to the viewpoint so the trail is in great condition. The trail is a long descent to the ocean with beautiful views. Very rewarding views with the iconic red chairs and stairs to the beach. The incline on the return is steep and continous so make sure to save some energy for the way back.

Great, nice hike which is not too difficult. There is a nice reward at the end, with a great view overlooking the shore. With a sunny day you can enjoy the beach, but will be a bit chilly.

Green Gardens Trail
This is a spectacular hike that is well worth the effort. Be aware that in Jun/2022 it was not possible to hike the trail as a loop trail (as the trail was washed out near the shoreline). This means you have to hike back UP the 250m mountain to return to the car. I hike over 2,000 km every year and would consider this trail DIFFICULT (not moderate as described in the literature). Give yourself enough time and bring enough water. It took us just over 5 hours (active time) to compete the trail.

One of the most beautiful trails in Gros Morne National Park. Starts off in the Tablelands with an alien looking wasteland that looks like Mars, entering what slowly becomes a dense forest and then ends at the steep cliffs at an impressive stone beach. At the end of the trails there are several picnic spots as well as wooden podiums in cover of the trees, to setup tent if you like to stay the night.Make sure to visit the discovery center of the Tablelands first, for a very informative introduction on the unique geography of the site.

Green Gardens Trail
Should really be called, Leg Day! Close to 100 flights of stairs, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Trail is hard to discern in the beginning, look for other hikes and keep to the right in the rocky section. There is forested and open areas, with dry and muddy sections but once you get down to the water, the views are amazing

Green Gardens Trail
If you do one tour in Gros Morne, this is the one. Five stars, spectacular and a fairly easy walk and hike. It is long and rocky, stunningly beautiful. Pack a lunch and enjoy at the beach.

Amazing hike! Very long but the views are worth it. Make sure you go down to the beach area!
