This is going to be one of the nicest places in the county to go to a wedding the venue is wonderful the staff was great and they're able to accommodate indoor and outdoor events

Extremely Poor Customer ExperienceI would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by this winery. My friends and I arrived at the venue approximately two minutes later than expected and decided to explore the nearby area for a while. Suddenly, an employee rushed towards us and started hurling abusive words, loudly berating us and ordering us to leave. He claimed that it was a private property and we should not have intruded while a wedding was taking place in a distant area.We immediately apologized, as we were unaware of the situation. However, the behavior of that staff member was utterly deplorable. Both my friends and I were frightened by his aggressive attitude. Consequently, we hastily departed from the premises of this winery. It was an extremely disappointing experience for us as visitors.The staff's lack of professionalism and their unwarranted confrontation completely ruined our visit. As customers, we expected a basic level of respect and understanding. This incident has left us deeply unsatisfied, and I strongly urge the management of the winery to address this matter and ensure such incidents do not occur in the future.Overall, our visit to this winery was marred by a distressing encounter and a woeful customer experience.

One of my absolute favourite places to photograph weddings. Sprucewood's team is always on point . The food is delicious, the grounds are stunning (trees, a beach, and a vineyard!). It's the perfect place to get married.

Had booked a tasting that I thought was for a Saturday for a bachelorette, but when we got there, I realized right then and there it was actually for Sunday - I had the wrong date! Panic set in and I was so embarrassed, but Melanie took such great care of us. She accommodated us right away - set us up with a tour, a tasting, and some chocolate and cheese. She was so funny and sweet, as well as informative. We had a great time and she saved the day truly! We can’t thank her enough. Can’t wait to visit Sprucewood again soon!

We loved having a glass of the sweet white wines here, accompanied by some tasty Mac and cheese bites. Outdoor patio was nice and overlooking the lake in the distance. The peach Riesling was just sweet enough to be delightful, and not at all sickening. I would go back and try others! I do wish we had the option to select a few wines ourselves for a tasting, as opposed to the preset tasting menus. Not a dealbreaker though!

Great place to go and enjoy the lake view, wine flight and some charcuterie. We were staying by lake Eerie from Ann Arbor with some friends and decided to stop by to do a tasting. Wines were good, service was great and our friends’ 18 month old enjoyed exploring the grounds while we took turns running after her and enjoying the flights paired with yummy cheeses. We also purchased bottles of wine to have later and as gifts. Would recommend the place!

Went for a wedding and this was a nice wooden rustic venue. I do think that they should train their staff to know where their items are especially high chairs. We waited for one and that staff member never found one for us. We ended up using the stroller. Overall, the food was good. They plated quickly and gave out our plates nicely. The salad was served and the kids meals were good. Thanks.

A beautiful spot to get married. The food was excellent as well as the wine and and view was beautiful and relaxing. The scenery is already very nice so you don't need to do much decorating if you are having your ceremony here. They also provide a wedding coordinator who is awesome and very helpful so it makes it so much less stressful if you get married here. I would highly recommend the hall.

What a great afternoon treat. Forty-five minutes from Detroit is a beautiful wine country. Sprucewood Shores is right on the coast of Lake Erie with a beautiful view.Don't miss this place for an afternoon glass of wine and sharing a cheese plate with a friend.
