Steve is my go-too computer guy! I’ve brought him a couple of computers to work on, the latest being an old, slow AF desktop that I wanted some RAM and other upgrades on. Steve is not only efficient, he has very fair pricing. What would have cost over $1000 had I gone elsewhere cost me well under $1000 at Bitrate. I had an issue with connecting a monitor (not something he had anything to do with and most likely a “me problem“), Steve said to bring the computer down first thing and within an hour he had updated the drivers and I was good-to-go! I highly recommend Steve & Bitrate Computers, I won’t go anywhere else!

I dropped it off and it was fixed two hours later. Great experience.

Steve was quick to respond to emails and very accommodating of my university schedule. I use my computer all day everyday and he was able to complete the repairs quickly without me having to suffer without my computer for school. Great bang for your buck as he did a lot more to my computer than what I originally thought was wrong. Great service!

Took my computer in for backing up and he took my windows 10 and reinstalled windows 7. I fell for the 5 star reviews he makes up.Stay away!He is not professional, takes very long and is shady.I'm writing this review a year later after having to recently buy a new windows 10 key due to him taking it.He also always has a passive agressive excuse for his actions and throws it back at the customer as can be seen in the comments.Don't be scammed.

Steve provides excellent, timely, and affordable service and expert advice. My PC boots up so much faster now with a new SSD drive.

I took an older lady’s computer in there she quoted her $60 to fix it, took it home it was still had the same problems I was gonna charge her again. And of course she was going to pay it, after speaking to him He was going to charge her the second time. I was telling her that her blue connection cord was old and she needed to buy a new one, I still have that cord on my Work computers at home.Felt like because she was older and uneducated he was completely try to take advantage of her. Very unprofessional and I would never go back.All I can say is run

Much gratitude to Bitrate computer service for recovering much of the data after my older computer's hard drive bit-the-dust without warning. I'm on a tight budget so Steve found an older, used hard drive and transferred my recoverable files from the *dead-as-a-doorknob* hard drive onto the working hard drive and installed it. Minimal cost for the repair and many much-needed files saved. Quick and friendly service.

Absolutely amazing customer service! When my computer completely crashed on me he fixed it right up installing a new hard drive and increasing the RAM. It works so much better than it did before! After doing that he continued to work into the night to recover some pictures I thought were lost forever. I can't thank him enough. Highly recommend for great service and unbeatable price.

I took my laptop in because I was having problems with windows. I asked him to back up my pictures, data, remove windows 11 and reinstall windows 10. When I got my laptop back I checked my files and pictures and all I saw were empty folders. I called him to question him about this and he said the back up went ok and there were no error messages. When I asked him if he checked to make sure everything was backed up his reply was: I didn't need to because there were no error messages. How can you let something leave your shop without checking to make sure everything was ok? Good thing I had my own back up. The point is I paid him to do a job and he only did half the job.
