Haywire Winery
My friends and I loved our tasting experience at Haywire. The space was newly renovated and you could feel the pride they took in it. They had set a table for us with all the glasses ready and labelled, and everyone instantly made us feel welcome. John was such a gracious host, and we thoroughly enjoyed his presentation of their wines. Every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. Their selection is wide and diverse. The wines were delicious, especially the Narrative Malbec.

My husband and I booked a wine tour and we stopped here on our honeymoon and it was such a great experience! We did the side by side comparison tasting which was very cool. Staff were very nice and gifted us a newly wed present of a bottle of bubbly. Big thank you to the staff for making it such a fun experience!

A group of nine of us visited Haywire winery for a tour and tasting and it was a fantastic experience! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was genuinely happy to answer our questions about the wine. I even found a Sparkling Rosé that I like, which is a first! If you’re in Summerland, be sure to stop by Haywire Wines.

My husband and I did a tasting at the winery today. We also ordered the charcuterie board . Highly recommend that! Javen took care of us. He was super knowledgeable, fun, and really made the experience amazing. We will be back in a heartbeat.

My sister and I visited this winery on opening weekend in the brand new tasting room. To say we were treated as VIPs when they welcomed us in would be an understatement. The atmosphere was so welcoming, it felt like we were family.The wines were delicious and stood on their own. Of note, I loved the Pink Bub, and I’m not as much a fan of the sparkling wines.They had a good variety of whites and reds to suit any palate. Even if the service was standard, we would have still purchased. I would highly recommend this place as a must see winery if/when in the area.

Great experience here! Huge winery with a ton of product through their different lines. We did a side by side tasting which was interesting. They tend to give you a fair amount here so careful if you plan on doing this with a few other tastings. Dog friendly outside.

We wanted to come here last year, but it didn’t work out. Well, lucky for us we made it back just as their new tasting room opened. We had a great tasting with John, who was the nicest guy. What a great ambassador for their business! The whole experience was top notch and we left as members of their wine club. If you are coming to the Okanagan to do wine tasting, be sure to stop Haywire and the Okanagan Crush Pad.

We had John take us through the wine tasting today! He was a phenomenal host and incredibly knowledgeable on all things wine. I absolutely love how the winery does special things for locals, in fact, it was at a “locals” event in the spring where I just had to become a member; the staff is so friendly, I learn something new every time I go, the wines are fantastic and again, I love how they treat locals and club members with events and now pick up parties!I am thrilled to take guests visiting to the winery for a tasting and we always leave with a new favourite wine!Thanks for being so welcoming and friendly, and of course for making superb wines that I’m happy to share with friends and family!
