my name is Beth Peterson, I broke both my legs over two years ago. As a result I've had four surgeries which ultimately lead to my right leg being approx. one inch shorter than my left leg. Kurtis Borland took his time and knowledge and designed me a proper orthopedic shoe that compensates for the situation. In essence he gave me my life back. He is intelligent, compassionate and knowledgeable about his chosen profession. Kurtis's attention to detail is second to none. Thank you Kurtis.!!!!!!!!

I went in today for a consultation and Kurtis removed a corn on the spot. I was SO nervous but he assured me it wouldn't hurt and true to his word, it didn't. I'm so happy to have it gone. Would 100% recommend.

I struggled with chronic Achilles Tendonitis for the better part of a year, could barley get through most days just walking and I had quit working out completely. No treatment options had helped, I was casted for 3 months and there was no improvement. I saw Kurtis at the clinic and within 3 months it was healed and I was back to working out and completely pain free. Highly recommend him and his expertise!

I had extreme ingrown toe nails. I was being taken care of by a great foot nurse Amanda of Asphodel Foot Care. She referred me to Kawartha Foot & Orthotic Clinic. I was a fraidy cat. I hate needles. My feet were ultra sensitive. My toe nail became very infected. I am a type 2 diabetic. I could lose a toe..a foot..a leg. I called and made a appointment. I was very anxious. I went to the appointment. I was assessed very quickly. The clinic is very clean. Medical professional all the way. I was greeted warmly and respectfully. The Dr. went through the entire procedure. I was shown the needle...I was told 4 needles total per toe.; I did not feel any of the needles!! No pain. All I felt was a little pressure. What a relief!! Bandaged...and given a sheet of instructions...and great after care. DO NOT BE A FRAIDY CAT. I wish this was done earlier in my life. I am 64 now. The pain and suffering I had...is gone. Very comfortable from the end of surgery to now. THANK YOU!!!

Kurtis is knowledgeable and he makes sure you know what he's doing in layman's terms. Over the years I've been assessed and had orthotics made by 3 other places locally. Kawartha Foot and Orthotic is by far the and most helpful and provided me with a much superior product than what I've received in the past.

I just walked my dog comfortably for the first time in 3 months!!!Long story... long, no one I knew had a recommendation for a podiatrist so I read google reviews and chose this one because they had free parking. Lame reasoning, I know. I was reluctant due to the cost of orthotics or special shoes or upselling or many visits, but walking was painful and I had a swollen something or other on my foot.Krista was great! She took the time to understand my issues, asked great questions and explained everything as we went. She told me my current orthotics we’re fine but my shoes had no support. They sell shoes there and she used one to show me what to look for but told me to go try on different shoes and see what was out there. No upselling!! I found a great pair of Saucony running shoes at sportchek on a great sale and walking is fun again! Highly recommended.

Thanks to Kurtis I can now walk around without pain. He provided me with a solution for my foot pain and knowledge about other options that exist. He also educated me on future risks and solutions that I may encounter. Great guy to deal with and the staff is very welcoming, especially Terry-Lynn at reception.

Always a great experience visiting this spacious, clean, and bright clinic in the west end of Peterborough. KF&OC are a great team I have had care from Kurtis, Krista and Caitlin. The office staff are also very accommodating and welcoming. I would recommend any of my family and friends to the clinic for footcare, orthotics or any foot related issues. They also offer direct billing which is very convenient.

Krista is amazing! I had endured a year of hip and leg pain on the right side and she analyzed my gait and standing very thoroughly. She recommended a lift for a few weeks then to return for follow up. It was life changing for me- to have no more pain! I am very grateful and would highly recommend this clinic.
