Gemmill Park
Such a wonderful park for children of all ages! The park has two seperate climbing structures, two swing sets, benches, picnic tables that are covered, a splash pad, skatepark, and track. My favourite thing about the park itself is how far removed from the parking lot it is. There is so much space and grass to let children roam and run without fear that they're too close to vehicles.

There is a relatively new power generation building here which is at the base of the falls, but, they have taken the time to design it so that you can walk up to it and get some great views of the falls from either side of the building. The end of the falls is forked, with streams running in 3 directions through trees. Quite pretty. Also noted was a small public washroom building and recycling/waste bins near the parking area. A pleasant quick stop if in Almonte.

Great park and facility. Has a soccer pitch, kids park, basketball ball court, baseball diamond and frisbee golf.

This is a great park to bring your dog if you want space to train. We're never bothered by unleashed dogs running up to us. Not a dog park but for leashed dogs looking at sport training or distraction training it's perfect.

Great disc golf course. Really enjoy the expanded 18 holes. Quick tip, wear waterproof shoes / hiking boots as there are a couple wet and muddy areas.

Gemmill Park
Gemmill is I'd think the largest and most well known park in the area. It's conveniently located near the town centre and there's quite a lot of parking. Good sized grassy area, kid's play park, skate park and splash pad that's open in the warmer months. There's also a few trails if you want which are good year round. Unattractive but useful set of restrooms which are open year round by the splash pad too.
