Todd's Your Independent Grocer Haliburton
I used to primarily shop at Foodland but have recently switched to Todd's Independent mostly full time, as I find the optimum points program to be good and the store has a good selection. The staff are always friendly and helpful. However, I find the produce section to be greatly inferior to that of Foodland and I now do most of my shop at Independent and then go to Foodland to get my produce. I have given the section a few opportunities but am always disappointed with at least one of my items.

The bakers here are fantastic! They went above and beyond to customize my nieces birthday cake for her. She absolutely LOVED it. I highly recommend getting your cakes done here.

I shopped there today and used the self checkout. Although I realized after arriving home that I scanned a couple items twice, I also realize that it was my mistake. A young lady helped me beyond belief...I wish I had of asked her name.Her sevice was above and beyond her duties...very pleased!

Most things are consistently in stock. Obviously expect there to be some times where things aren't. Great prices and selection. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, great place to shop.
