I've been to every province in Canada and this is hands down the best sushi I've had. It is insanely good! Very nice quantities for an insane price. The lunch special is also crazy, with 3 standard rolls costing less than $20!!! That includes Miso soup too! Great location and on skip as well. Ample parking and never had a problem getting a table. If you're in St John's and want sushi, this is hands down the best spot of them all. The dynamite roll is sublime!

We stopped here for one last taste of fresh fish before flying out of Newfoundland, and it did not disappoint! The servers were exceptionally pleasant and attentive, every piece of sushi was delicious - some were just more delicious than others. Ive never encountered asparagus sushi before trying Ocean and it was a really fun and tasty new one for me.Great location too, great bathrooms and great atmosphere. Whenever i am back in Newfoundland i will be stopping back in here.

Really nice food and very kind staff. Good serving size. Special regards to the chef for such nice dishes. Casual environment. Moderate prices. I am definitely going there again and try new items on the menu. This restaurant is a must try for sushi lovers

There is something special about the sushi here. Not only is the sushi and sashimi fresh and made to order but they also offer a torched Aburi" variety that sears the fish and adds a bit of charred smokiness giving it an extra boost of complexity. There is an add-on cost to this technique but if you're looking for something different

Their lunch menu is fantastic with some great deals. Food is fresh and with some newer combinations of flavours, it is delicious. I'm from West Coast where there are loads of sushi snobs, this place is better than a majority of any other places I've ever been to.Pictured is Dynamite Roll, Salmon Avacado Roll, Salmon Tempura Roll, Salmon Mango Roll, Spicy Scallop Roll, Tuna Avacado

AMAZING sushi, I got the salmon five ways and its the best sushi plate I've had in Newfoundland! Staff was very friendly and courteous, atmosphere was cozy and really nice for its location. This place became my go-to after just one visit.

Wonderful new Sushi spot!! Wide selection of specialty rolls, fresh and butter-like fish for sashimi cuts (Toro, butterfish and salmon top favorites!) Service AMAZING, attentive and friendly. 2nd visit and a family favorite spot!

Beautiful presentation and fantastic flavors! First time here today and great serving sizes for fair prices with friendly customer service. Absolutely recommend the torched salmon nigiri and the tempura cheesecake. Had an amazing variety of dishes from starters and other entrees to sushi. Can't wait to try other items the next time back!
