Vancouver Christmas Market
Unfortunately I was very disappointed and I wound't recommend. We came from USA for Christmas in Vancouver and our hotel helped us to get tickets to the market. Not only we paid 40 CAD to enter ????(without alcohol for 2 people) we had to pay everywhere separately. In Europe we have free Christmas markets and why price are so steep? With or without alcohol admissions?! Beside free few minutes carousel ride you don't get anything. Lines weren't big but food took forever to get as well as it was very very expensive, we spent around $120 CAD with admission and we still were hungry. Also food quality was poor my chimney cake aka trdelnik (Czech) was raw inside because I took without any sauce that was extra too omg! Chip tornado was so tiny for $11 its robbery. For 1 small deep fried potato. Hot chocolate was very sweet and took forever. Also for 0 service there plenty options to tip. For what? Not only you get your food outside in the cold with no service, it gets cold while you reach overcrowded lounge to eat. I rather go and eat at the restaurant with full service, real utensils and silverware and warm. It's not even funny to pay so much and get such a poor conditions and overpriced food.

Always great fun to be at the Vancouver Christmas Market. They did increase the price this year to make up the loss during COVID years. There is a free Carousel ride this year. The food stalls are the best. We had the Apple Wine infused with Rum, Inside Out Cinnamon Roll Pancake, Hot Chocolate, Veggie Sausage Hot Dog, Salted Pretzel. This time they are selling the 2020 Christmas Market Cups for just $1.

Hopefully next year Vancouver will do much better! Fairly small market , still exiting and enjoyable. We go there mostly to try different foods and drinks. Free carousel ride is my favourite part . The entrance fee is pretty expensive though (22$ one visit, 40$ for season pass). I got season tickets since I was sure I would go there more than 2 times. They’re selling cute Xmas gifts and stuff, to me are pricey but still nice. Lots of shining pictures are waiting there for you!

Vancouver Christmas Market
Fairly small Christmas market, especially for the price. Go hungry and enjoy some of the delicious smelling foods. I didn't find the stalls particularly exciting. They don't allow you to take outside drinks in so we had to chug our Starbucks before entering. There was no line up for tickets when we arrived (Sunday around noon) but the lady at the box office said some time slots were full so buy in advance if you want to guarantee you'll get in

Vancouver Christmas Market
Went there on a weekday afternoon at around 3pm, so there wasn’t too much crowd. The market normally gets busier after 6-7pm and of course on the weekend. In door dinning area was nice, but didn’t have high power heater. Lots of local and special venders from across the countries. Good place to pick your holiday gifts. Plan well on dressing warm enough and prepare for snowy and windy weather. You sure will have a memorable time there!

Vancouver Christmas Market
This is unfortunately one of the worst markets I have been to in terms of authenticity, it feels very fake but in a 'corny' or cheap kinda context. I don't feel like I'm in Europe or a real Christmas market whatsoever.Word of advice, don't get the Vegan Goulash from Das Goulash Haus food vendor, it's a complete and utter rip off. $15 for a basic bread bun with potato-only goulash that has zero seasoning and crazy bland. Whereas, at least the meat version has a separate Beef stew and they add the vegan stew on top! Very unfair. The 'mulled wine' tent is basically warm Ribena with added sugar. There also seems way too many people at once in accordance with COVID protocols and I don't feel that they are managing human traffic at all.

The space is too small, the attractions are too small!Buy 2 types of food. That doesn't taste as good as I thought it would. And it's really salty and really greasy.

Vancouver Christmas Market
It’s truly a wonderful time of the year to enjoy this very joyful and merry festival. Excellent curated Christmas booths selling one of a kind, and some times made in Germany trinkets and ornaments. The food area has expanded this year and feels like a Christmas food fair. Full covered seating for those crisp winter evenings too! A great value is the mulled wine in the Christmas market festival mug. This is a fantastic souvenir! Overall this is just awesome to have in the city during this time of year. Loved every moment of it! Highly recommended!
