Overpriced in the extreme.I have tried buying here on two occasions and both times walked out disgusted. The first time I looked at a levered Straw Dispenser available online for around $60. Hoping to get one right away I went to Russell and almost choked when they told me their price for the same model was $155! Normally I do expect a slightly higher price for local compared to online but $100 (200%) more is too much to swallow. I got it online in 5 days.Second time I went in for some metal chill bar pans, which I normally buy for $5 at another local supplier, but they were back-ordered. The special" Russell discount price (today only) was $16/pan (normally $18)! As I left I saw one of the sales staff pull up in his shiny Porsche SUV and park next to my Honda sedan beater.Apparently I am in the wrong business."

You have to remember this is not like buying at other normal store. I had a 3 month old $40 lime squeezer with a 5 year warranty, but they don't just replace it and deal with the manufacturer themselves like other store. You need to leave it with them, then they will send it to be fixed. I've been waiting for +2 months, and have yet to get a replacement squeezer. So, I just went to Williams and Sonoma and bought one, at least they will just replace it on the spot unlike Russell Hendrix.

Terrible Experience!When you want to buy something, they are all over you but when it comes time for any customer service forget about it .... you're on your own!We dealt with the salesperson Mark and Janice in sales support.Mark knew nothing about the equipment we wanted to purchase so we did our own research and spoke with the manufacturer representatives directly. Mark was simply there to process the transaction and get paid commission for doing so...nice!We ended up spending a small fortune on equipment but after the product was installed and the factory start-up was completed, we encountered some major issues. One machine was defective straight out of the box which required major repairs. But that was only the beginning, when the other machines were up & running, they only performed at 20% of what the manufacturer claimed they were capable of doing.Ultimately the manufacturer took the equipment back as they were negligent in claiming the equipment's performance capabilities.However, this now shut our business down completely for the season therefore we took a major loss in revenue as well as additional costs directly associated with the equipment. All due to the manufacture's negligent misrepresentation.At no point in time did Mark, Janice or anyone from Russell Hendrix follow up with us directly to fully understand what was happening even though they were included in all the communications with the manufacturer's representative.They never provided any support or showed any empathy for what we were going through because they were now going to lose a sale so they couldn't be bothered to care and when I called Mark directly it was an inconvenience for him to help us navigate the refund from Russell Hendrix.Also contacted Karen at Russel Hendrix head office accounting department but she never returned our messages.... pretty bad!After our refund just magically showed up in our account, we still never received a follow up call or email from Mark or anyone from Russell Hendrix....this shows their true colors as individuals and the company they work for.There are several other commercial appliance suppliers in the city who value and respect their customers so we would recommend choosing any of them before Russell Hendrix to spend your hard-earned money.

I like the new location, and it's one of the few places to get some of this equipment. You don't need to be a professional to find useful utensils and gadgets (I'm just a home cook myself). I have had a hard time getting personal assistance at the store, but they are relatively responsive to email. I like to just walk through and browse sometimes. If only my home kitchen were large enough!

Sales reps were super friendly and helpful. New scale works great and love the price

Good variety of common household and also business kitchen appliances and tools, including dinnerware sets, larger sized pots and pans, scales and thermometers, hair nets and other misc./janitorial supplies. The staff were helpful when I inquired. The prices kind of vary and i am unaware of any discounts or sales on any of the items unless it is discontinued or last one of the brand etc. I like that they open earlier in the morning though.

SO HELPFUL! I phoned about Hollowick brand pieces for some vintage lanterns and they were able to help me figure out what I needed and order it the same day.

Great place to shop for specialized cooking tools. Staff is friendly...peppered with a bit of 'snootyness' that comes with specialized stores.Requested one of the sales people follow up on a request for a specialized appliance after visiting and spending a few hundred dollars....no call back.As I find typical in mid-level specialty retail outlets, customer service is 2nd to employees' task lists.5 stars if I actually get a follow up call (not holding my breath here.....)

Was about to spend $1800 on a microwave here but they wouldn’t answer the phone even after I waited and called back so I got it from crown because they answered almost immediately , it’s funny because this exact same thing has happened twice now.I should mention aside from the phone issue they are very good for finding miscellaneous parts for kitchen equipment and do sell quality products.
