CIBC Branch with ATM

As a bank they are fine however when visiting the branch a homeless encampment was erected ( with open drug use) on the walkway overhang and the on Duty Security Officer nor the Bank Employee that I spoke to seemed to concerned about it. I imagine the older Customers would feel safer parking their vehicles or walking over without having to see that

Lea at this branch was very helpful. One of the CIBC reps opened up a GIC for me and didn't mention that there's a catch that I won't be able to redeem it and it'll auto-renewed every year. Lea was able to help me with it and get my money back.

Glad I don't bank with them! 3 years ago I bought a car and got my car loan with them. I was trying to pay my loan balance so I waited in line..the first person was helpful and gave me my balance and payment options. Came back with my money and saw a different teller only for her to tell me I can't make my payment with her and I had to wait for a different teller to process my payment. I waited in line for 15 min for this person to help 1 customer infront of me only to make me wait in another line for 25min to make a simple cash transaction that she could've helped with but she was too lazy or maybe I wasn't a big enough client. Why isn't everyone on the same page in this place!

Very nice and helpful. I'm only a little concerned as I did a name change to my CC and I didn't have to sign any paperwork. I was at two other institutions prior to this for the same reason and had to sign something at each of those places. Also it's a little odd that you can just go in and do this and not have to sign anything. I'm a little worried about fraud with these guys now.

This is a crazy place, securities are always checking his mobile phones, the staff seems to be unskilled in business, and everyone who handles business has to wait for a long time. I will never save money in this place again.

I went to this CIBC location recently to do an international bank wire transfer. The bank teller was absolutely amazing to deal with. She was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and so helpful. She gave me her card and said if there is any issues ; please come back to see me. The company confirmed payment the next day. I was so happy ; I recommended a lot of friends and family to this branch and the teller. Thank you Anne for being so kind, patient and awesome!

The bank was open late on a Friday evening. Lots of customers but the staff was professional and handled a tricky customer well. Kudos to the management and team for what they do and did for me. Thanks!

Employees will steal your banking information, SIN, etc if applying for loans. They tell you you're approved and when you go in, no application exists and they can't find the name of the employee.They do however have a record of the credit check and appointment so it was in house and real by CIBC. They have scammers at CIBC, avoid like the plague, check your accounts, check with the credit bureaus to make sure nothing is opened in your name.Their only solution to identity theft We're sorry

Anne Alvarenga helped me with a bank draft. Answered my questions, was knowledgeable and patient. Pretty routine transaction, but I wanted to put in a review because I don’t think this branch deserves such a low 2.4 star rating and I guess people only post a review if they ran into trouble. This was overall a pleasant experience.
