CIBC Branch with ATM

They never have enough tellers working, something that should take maybe 5-10 minutes takes an hour.They usually have one teller working when there’s fifteen people in line

I would give 0 stars if I could. I usually don't write reviews, but my experience here was TERRIBLE. I didn't believe others when they told me that the staff at this location was bad. However after my interaction with a teller and the bank manager, I understood...Customer service aside, the bank manager would not have passed preschool if basic manners were part of school curriculum. She ignores questions and concerns clients bring up, she has NO social skills whatsoever, and completely disrespects clients to their face. After chatting with her for 10 minutes, I felt like I needed to be rushed to the hospital to get my ears checked. Her tone was aggressive and deafening, as if I was her husband who was just caught cheating and was now subject to her scolding on full blast. I felt like I was being under arrest for small requests that other banks could have easily resolved for me in 5 minutes. The attitude and lack of ANY facial expression mirrors stereotypical aggressive senile DMV office workers in movies who could not care less if you dropped dead on the spot. I seriously felt suffocated in this building...This branch has become a pool where young, talentless, untrained workers get the job likely cause they have connections to senior workers who are identical. Apparently customer service has been this way for ages now. This process is cyclic... It has festered into an environment that is unwelcoming and unprofessional.To this day I have 2 regrets. One, I should have stood up for myself that day instead of responding with a smile and a polite tone (I did not want to risk getting my task delayed as it was time sensitive). Two, I should have listened to the comments. The latter will continue to haunt me for my remaining existence, but serves as a good reminder to trust the MAJORITY of reviews left online.Props to the security man though. Only good interaction that day... greeted us warmly with a smile and directed us to the tellers.

I went to this branch to cash a cheque and they were quick and friendly. I was served by a gentleman named Justin, and he was pleasant to talk with.

The worst branch to visit. Hardly any staff available for the daily massive lineups that are on average 15 people long. Most of the surrounding branches are branches without tellers…there are always 3-4 or more people standing behind the teller windows, yet there’s only ever 1 or 2 tellers ever actually servicing customers. What a joke. CIBC used to be worth dealing with, but this steady decline in customer service and competency makes me regret in dealing with them. This branch is one of the worst ones.

Sir Reza Sadeghi was awesome!! He helped my son change his account since his account was compromised. He did a good job and got a lot of patience in helping us!!

I have to say by reading the reviews I would never want to come to this bank.But the reality is that I do bank at this location. Not often because I am ill. But every time that I have come here I didn’t have a horrendous experience like a lot of you.Actually one time during the plandemic I went to the bank and was treated like royalty because I am on oxygen and was taken into an office to sit.I do agree that some of the staff aren’t exceptionally friendly but they aren’t rude either.I must say that if I had to contend with winers and complainers like you guys on a daily basis I can guarantee you that I’m not going to be very optimistic.We all have been through a very traumatic time the past few years. It’s time to be gentle on yourself so that you can learn to treat others properly and with kindness. It’s not all about you. Time to quit throwing your tantrums and act like adults

I have dealt with a lot of banks all over the world, but I have never received worse service from this bank. They don't respect the customer.

Omg the worst experience with this location of the personal advicer banker ! We had appointments with her a month ago and we were in the bank for 3 things . 1. Open the kids education account. 2. Get a Visa card 3. Transfer the rrsp money from different bank to cibc. That’s not hard ! A month later she didn’t do anything. We keep calling her it went to voicemail and get no call back . First she made a mistake about the kids account. And we finally fixed and other 2 things still didn’t finish a month later . She told me that it’s my responsibility to call the other bank for the transfer when I called other bank they told me “no when cibc already send the peper work to them then it’s between the banks to deal with she have to call them and they need more information from cibc “ she is th worst banker I have never experienced . First time we meet she was so excited cuz the day after is her vacation! So she doesn’t do anything for us !? All she work that day all she did for us is print the pepper work and said how excited she was to go on vk! It’s the other guy who explained all the details for us !She will get report from us through her manager. I hope her manager take it srsly. Cuz people like this shouldn’t sit in the office and handling other people’s money . If you get her as your advicer guy I wish u luck .I hope cibc sees this . Srsly the worst banker we haven’t never deal with before. Cibc is not a bad bank but get 2 starts reviewing for a reason ! I hope u guys take it srsly you are handling other people’s money . And the management should be better !

This is the worst branch I’ve been to. The manager is disrespectful and she has the worst attitude towards the clients. It took her forever to appear when I had a concern, she was dismissive and did not bother listening to me. She kept cutting me off as if I didn’t know what I was talking about instead of listening to my concerns. I wouldn’t recommend this branch to anyone since the manager has no manners and interpersonal skills. If I had the option I would rate it 0 instead of 1.

Hours of operation is posted 6pm for Friday. I walk in at 5:25 and was told the tellers were closed. Lots of people work late and don't want to take time off work.
