Also, they are really good with following up about the processed transactions. The whole process was very easy and everything were done online. I have just completed my second transaction with Knightsbridge and as other reviewers have commented, the second one is way easier as all your info is on file provided you are using exactly the same accounts. I did a USD to CAD conversion and the rates are very competitive compared to other similar services and of course better than a bank’s FX (rhymes with VD). I would like to mention the excellent service I received through their Chat feature. My Feb 23 transaction was handled by Adam whose name I recognized from past Chats when checking on the day's FX. Thank you to Jack who handled my multiple messages for the past couple days. Sorry, if I left anyone out from the Chats as I have been very pleased every time I use that feature. For someone wondering about a competitor (rhymes with guys), it depends what you’re doing. For my larger transaction, my net amount quoted is comparable. However, a wire transfer is required in my case with the guys. My bank's ridiculous wire fee was the deterrent, $50USD+GST outgoing, $50CAD+GST incoming.For those wondering on the timeline as a weekend was involved. Did paperwork on Feb 23 (day 0), USD was pulled out on Feb 27 and CAD deposited by noon on Mar 2, a total of 5 business days. I'm sure everyone's situation is different, but I highly recommend Knightsbridge to handle large sums of FX.
