SIXT Rent A Car

Great experience! New cars, very clean. Simple and clear terms, specially about insurance and its cover. Good prices. We are very happy. Also customer service was kind and effective. Its not in the airport but 5min ride, they reimburse the price of the taxi. Would definitely reserve again

Awfull service, incompetent staff and overall we have to run after our money. I wish no one uses this car rental company ever.Our story: we rented a car from europe, having paid everything in advance. Then at pickup day for our 10 day BC trip, they couldn’t give us the car because of our different „credit card“. To be honest i used the debit card in Canada as a deposit card several times and it ALWAYS worked. Dunno where the problem seems to be here. In the end we offered cash, a proper credit card from my co traveler with enough limit and the debit one. All options were rejected. The lady at the counter said refund will be done immediately. Still in the system today is: car pickup delay 7 days. No its not delayed as we had to got to another car rental and await the full refund!!. The transfer was also not paid.In the terms and conditions it is stated: you need a proper credit card for the deposit. This is fine but canceling all already payed amount ans demanding a 4 digit limit just right away cant be the right way and was not planned/ possible for usPlease never ever bock here!!!

I have rented a car form SIXT Vancouver in June 2023 for a week. Overall I had very positive experience. I rented ford SUV and I was upgraded to BMW X3. Car Pick up and return was very smooth. I was given voucher for taxi for airport pick up and drop off. Highly recommended.

Terrible scammers, awfully bad service ,rented us a car with 2 failing tires, which are not included in their insurance pack. They make you buy 2 new tires and accuse you off damage you didn't cause, never rent a car there!!!

Had went originally went to (nextcar by Vancouver airport) to get a Dodge Charger when I arrived I was told they didn’t have these cars and that I would be getting a Toyota with a deposit for 1500$ on top of the rental… I walked out a headed to sixt, the same price for a brand new BMW with only a 200$ deposit. Shout out the the staff very friendly and professional …Jose made the time in the renting the car quick and easy Sixt even gave us a shuttle back to whenever we needed after we returned the car

We originally had found a different rental car with Routes" car rental but after reading a few online reviews hesitated and searched for other options. We are so happy that we landed on Sixt. They were a little more expensive

Renting a car in Sixt Vancouver is such a wonderful experiences. I have rented cars in Sixt Germany, Sixt USA (LA), Sixt France, Sixt Amsterdam, but nowhere has better services than Sixt Vancouver. The customer representative, Mr. Joseph Cruz, was such a kind gentleman and helping me patiently to find the car I wanted. The car (BMW x3) is of course excellent and the returning process is smooth.Sixt is definitely your number 1 choice if you visit Vancouver.

Very terrible service including unprofessional staff. SIXT did not accept our credit card even though we met all the requirements that were relevant in Germany (place of booking). SIXT wanted to cancel the booking and send us a confirmation by mail. 8 days later we still have not received a confirmation, the booking still exists and the money (four-digit amount) we still have to run after. Please never book here. Rather choose another car rental company that is a little more expensive, but the processes are more smoothly coordinated. Otherwise, the problem accompanies you through your whole vacation!

Horrible experience so far and still have not received any feedback. Came to BC on a late flight. Did not realize that we needed to take a taxi to their rental office as it stated Vancouver airport was pickup. We arrived 10 minutes after 11 with my wife and 3 kids and no one was to be found. Could not get a hold of anyone. Lady at the front desk of the Radisson Blu stated they do leave keys at front desk of hotel when people arrive after there closing but nothing was there for us. I have sent 3 emails In the last 13 hours with no response. We had to take an Uber to their office and then two separate Ubers to get to the hotel due to it being late. Spoke to someone this morning and all I got from them was go back to the rental office and pick up your car. I have asked for a full refund as I am not spending my family vacation going back and forth to the rental place which is some distance from where we are staying. Hopefully someone gets back to me shortly and refunds me my money. Will report back on how the remainder of this experience goes. If it is anything like it has been so far I would say absolutely not. I have used Sixt in Europe a few times and service was great in each country. Not sure what the problem in Canada is.

Had an excellent experience with Sixt on my trip to Vancouver last week. Pricing was excellent vs other rental options, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the car was terrific! They will pay for your return cab fare to their location at the Radisson hotel nearby, which ended up being much easier than expected vs waiting for a shuttle and was a brief ride.
