The service is absolutely phenomenal. A few times I've accidentally damaged my glasses and the staff fixed them quickly and for free, even though it's been 3-4 years since I purchased them. Costco quality and service is always 5/5!

I ordered some prescription sunglasses here. The whole process of purchasing the sunglasses took way longer than it should have, because the sales lady kept trying to upsell me on various lens options or convince me to buy additional pairs that I did not want.When I received my sunglasses a few days later, I found that the lenses had a severe fishbowl distortion. Comparing it to my other similar glasses I absolutely do not believe that lenses were high index, despite that being what I ordered. The lady there when I picked them up said I would get used to it. I tried them for a week and found them to be unusable. Also, aside from the fishbowl distortion, the tint in the lenses was uneven, darker in some areas than others. Oddly these colour distortions were most visible to other people looking at me who were themselves wearing sunglasses. It looked ridiculous.Originally I wanted to exchange the lenses, assuming it was just a bad pair, but the staff member at the optical center simply refused to listen to what I had to say or to look at the lenses so I just gave up and returned it. Too bad because I really liked the frames. When I completed the return, the same staff member did not want to give me a receipt, I had to argue to get one.

Terrible customer service! WILL NOT be going back. I went there 3 hours before closing and asked for some help to buy contact lenses. The lady there said that they were understaffed" when 4 of them were just standing there and talking to each other. I told her that I would wait and she can help me when she's free

Recently, my husband & I decided to try our luck with a contact lens renewal Rx for me, & eyeglasses for him. Neither one of us had an appointment. Simon was extremely gracious, professional, & happy to help us, without being the least bit pushy. He determined my contacts lens' Rx, (from a 2021 eye exam @ a different well-known, more expensive franchise), was too strong, this has made a major vision improvement! I love my husband's transition glasses, they are very stylish. I will be back for sure.

Worst experience. The short hair with pink jacket lady, maybe around 50 years old who can speak in English and Mandarin was so rude and inpatient.

Worst experience ever. I would suggest to find an optometrist elsewhere and purchase lens from them.

Went to order contact lenses with my new prescription. The staff member Shaylyn was wiping the counter, saw me and just ignored me until I said hi and so she reluctantly acknowledged me. Asked me to repeat my phone number 4 times, and proceeded to tell me I wasn’t in their system when in reality she entered my number incorrectly multiple times. Overall vibe right from the start was just awful, as though she didn’t want to serve me or do any work.Took a look at my new prescription and told me I’d have to get toric lenses. I explained the optometrist advised I am on the cusp and if my trial lenses work I can use regular lenses. S then told me there’s nothing she can do as she would not fill my prescription unless it is with toric lenses. S was incredibly dismissive and thinks she knows better than an actual doctor/Optometrist guidance by completely ignoring the information I gave her. I ended up going to another Costco Optical to have a test trial done with my new prescription with no problems, and received excellent customer service. I had very negative experience in this place to get my contact lenses. I chose this place because I trusted the Costco Brand. However, the service was pretty awful here. I told one of the staff there that I wanted to order contact lenses. She asked what brand did you want? I told her that I had no idea what brand they have and any difference between them. She seemed to be very impatient and unhappy hearing that. I felt she assumed everyone knows exactly what they want and all she needs to do just the paper work. Finally I finished the trial and wanted to order 90 pairs of lenses. I called them 10 times during a week, nobody answered the phone. Even now, I succeed 0 times to get them answer my phone calls. Terrible experience, and you guys are damaging the Costco brand.
