Wild Goose Motel & Campground

Our camper lifted up and moved 10ft from the spot we were in and our truck got a little scared up but we are okay.

The campground was disappointing. Not a lot of trees for privacy from other campers. The picnic tables were old & in some instances warped! No fire pits were available & when we decided to buy a portable one we were told they weren’t allowed.Upon checking in & paying we were told that the washrooms were not available for use! Nothing was said about the laundry room but it was also not available!We had to call in for the wi-fi password. Although given two different ones, the connection was off & on. We were never given a check out time.Tried to get assistance Friday afternoon, but they had already closed for the weekend. For being mid September & the lack of usage of the facilities, the price was high!We would definitely look for another campground should we find ourselves in that area again!

Crazy cheap prices. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Pleasantly surprised after reading reviews. Room was clean and warm already. Shower had good pressure and warmed quickly. Microwave, mini-fridge and coffee machine. Not all cheaper places have all 3. Only real complaint, not a very good channel selection. But still happy, wifi was good.

I'm not sure I have the words to describe how completely disgusted we were with our visit, but I'll try.First of all, let me preface this by saying that I am downright cheap, so I will overlook a lot of things for a good deal, and it takes a lot to put me off. Bad service (not the case here, they were actually quite apologetic), and dirty accommodations (DEFINITELY the case here).Do NOT stay here, don't even think about it, not worth it.While the room had a general appearance of cleanliness, upon closer inspection, this was most definitely not the case.Towels had been used, and refolded on the rack (there was toothpaste on one, ffs). But here's the kicker. Someone, very recently, had a rather soft bowel movement ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COMFORTER, which was then simply flipped back up onto the bed when it was made. As a healthcare professional for over twenty years, I can confirm that this was not only feces, but was, in fact omnivore poop. I'll spare you the exact details, but will say that this was definitely not soap

I was driving to Alberta for work and approaching Kerrobert in the darkest hours of the night when I clipped an unfortunate porcupine who was waddling along the shoulder of the highway. Got out to check my right front tire, and sure enough it was bristling with quills and I could hear the distinct hiss of air slowly escaping. The lights of town beckoned yonder, but what would be open at this unholy hour? The Wild Goose Motel, that's what. I left my car parked at the service station across the street, grabbed a room for the night and slept like a baby. By the time I was finished my toast and coffee at the diner the next morning, my tire was patched and I was on my way. This was over 20 years ago, but so what? Thanks Wild Goose Motel!

Campground is a nice size but at this time they had no water to all of it site and no power to over half of it sites but the rest is good

We didn't stay here but stopped to use the RV dump. Owner was very friendly and no charge to dump.

Rented here for work... 2 Bed 1 Bath for 700, unfurnished. Furnished - 950 plus power for both and internet. Pretty decent if you're looking for a place to stay compared the Golden Prairie Lodge running at 60 / day rate.

It was a good stay. Stayed for 2 nights and it was quite comfortable.
