I recently took my computer into their shop to double confirm that it is no longer fixable as it kept saying disk full and I wanted Windows 10 installed, another local company said no can do. That took four and a half days to find out they could do nothing. Mainstay fixed the memory, installed windows 10 from the present Windows Professional 7, NO CHARGE and the other place was well over 100 bucks. I got the computer back from Mainstay in less than 2 days and for a fraction of the cost I already blew out the window (no pun intended) at the other joint! thanks Mainstay, you have my business!

Once again Mainstay Computing has come to my rescue! I've been trying to get the laptop manufacturer to fix the problem for a week. In less than an hour Chris had it fixed. Would highly recommend this company.

My laptop charging port was corroded and the computer would not charge. I brought my laptop to mainstay to get fixed and they told me it was unfixable. They told me I was at risk to losing all of my data and advised I backed everything up. Scared of losing my data, I had them save it onto a hard drive and was charged hundreds of dollars because they apparently spent hours looking for the problem they could not resolve.I then found a place in the city to fix my computer for $130.00 by sauntering a new port on. I was informed this is a fairly normal procedure and shouldn't have been hard to identify.I regrettably should have posted this when it happened (2021?) but I just recently had my laptop fixed of a different issue so I was reminded of this and remembered i never gave my review. I gave 2 stars because they did a good job backing up my information for me, despite not needing to.

The power supply for my desktop computer failed without warning, so I called this place up and asked if they were able to repair it. I explained exactly what happened and it turns out that it had to be replaced entirely. Given the situation and age of the component, I understood and expected such. Not only were they able to get it replaced totally, but they did it within an hour on the same day I called them. It just so happened they had the component I needed in stock. They were professional, knowledgeable, and quite reasonably priced, especially considering the speed at which they went to work on my issue. I absolutely recommend this business for any sort of computer repair.
