Dr. Tehmina Amer

Went to see this doctor for issues regarding my child. Was brushed off after we have been trying to get help for 3 years! She kept calling my daughter a boy and would non stop cut us off while we were answering her questions. She said just resort to reach programs for help. I do not recomend this doctor. Our appointment was at 3pm and didn't see the doctor till 4.. waste of time. Ontario's health care system is a bunch of garbage. Also this office was not organized and seemed to be very unclean.

While my experience with Dr Amer herself is fine, this is in relation with the rest of her staff. As mentioned in a previous review we encountered the same issue of not wearing masks in the office which is a HUGE issue.Their receptionist came into our room without a mask and told us that because she's been vacinnated she does not need a mask. Nowhere in the province does it mention this is true. You can still be asymptomatic and pass it on.On top of that, she was in close encounters with our less than 1 year old baby who is not vaccinated as well as the parents who are not vaccinated. This is unacceptable.To top things off. When we were leaving, both front receptionists had their masks below their chin.As a medical clinic, I expect better procedures in place given how many people are severely hospitalized from this. Just because you do not see major complications on a personal level does not mean the risk is gone. I don't understand the mentality.We will be more vigilant with being firm on their mask wearing but if this keeps up, I will search for another pediatrician...I don't care if it's in another city or an hour away. Our health safety is a priority.

We’ve been coming here for more than a year and since the start, both Dr Amer and Josie have taken such good care of our young one. They are always smiling and looking for ways to help. Thank you for everything you do for our little one!

Highly recommended. We've been taking our baby there for more than 2 months. Both Dr. Amar and her assistant are friendly, caring, responsive, and knowledgeable.

Pleasant lady with a lot of helpful tips! Has been nothing but sweet and patient with my daughter who has a very bad temper! Overall very understanding and takes time to answer all questions fully. She really cares!

As a parent to a micro preemie with complex medical needs I have to say doctor Amer has been great. They always squeezed us in for last minute appointments which was often. She is very supportive and always available.

Experience with this doctor was not good. I also go to a centre with all moms and toddlers and there opinion of this doctor was the same. Everyones experience is different but when see a child once or twice and assume a diagnosis without proper examination its a problem. A second and third opinion was given by our physician and the hospital and her assumption was completely wrong. As parents you follow what you feel is right for your child and you put your trust into doctors cause you feel there opinions are in the best of your childs health, its unfortunate we had such a bad experience not once but twice. Overall we will not return.

My three children go here just brought my newest born today great doctor and receptionist kind and easy going love the toys to distract my kids while I’m busy . Dr. Is very knowledgeable. Thank youDisgusted my three angels Frankie Ella and Beau got simply kicked out . I got shamed because I took them and waited one hour in a room with to babies and got judged you then told my husband they were not clients anymore Dont worry I’ll be sharing my message with a lot of moms in AncasterYou as a doctor will be shamed.
