They don't honour appointments!Keep in mind that you can be denied an appointment if you made it online.I've been a loyal patient of this clinic for over 5 years and today I was told that my appointment is not his their system and so I have to reschedule. I did make an appointment and I did show the confirmation to the person at the front desk. But still I was told that next time I should call... Then please remove online booking tool from you site!

Fantastic facility with modern tools and knowledgeable humble doctors, hadn't been to an optometrist in a loong time and they did a great thorough job and gave me peace of mind that I'm not going blind!

Excellent service! From the phone call to make an appointment, to the the reception and the consultation, I had a pleasant experience with this clinic. Cordiality and punctuality, as well as modern equipments. Dr Peter Solo was fantastic, and directed me to the right specialist. Other clinics should take notes with them on how to deliver a great customer service!

The staff and doctors were wonderful. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for an eye exam. The experience was much more thorough than the basic exam you get at an eye glasses shop. And you have the benefit of long term records/scans you can track over time.

I'm not a fan of this place. I got two prescriptions from them over the years and neither was 100% accurate, probably because the appointment was only 20 minutes instead of 45. She really didn't take the time to make sure the end result was 20/20.These guys are tuned in to the benefits packages for the neighbouring hospital and university employees and are overpriced accordingly. I've now switched to a new place where the exam is $120 instead of $200+ and have a new prescription that gives me 20/20 vision in both eyes.Their glasses are really expensive but that's just endemic to Canada- I get mine done offshore for about $120 a pair delivered straight to my door and have had no issues with them.

Good equipment, very friendly and helpful associate staffers. However, pricey exams that give false prescriptions given by distant optometrists. Don't go here.After visiting twice over the past 6 years, I have come away with prescriptions that were significantly off, did not help significantly with my eyesight and caused headaches.

It was my first time visiting this location. It's very convenient and well run, almost no wait at all. Also I highly recommend Dr. Permack who has been my optometrist for several years. He has experience with Ortho-K lenses, which was a draw for me. With his guidance, I've since had lasik surgery and am very happy with the results. Dr. Permack helped me find the best place for surgery and post surgery checkups.

Many thanks to Dr. Laurie Permack (and his team) at the University Eye Clinic. Dr. Permack has a calm, empathetic and competent nature. His professionalism and thoroughness made me feel that I was in very capable hands. Everything was straightforward and quite efficient. I have no doubts recommending Dr. Permack to my friends and family.

I had an excellent experience at University Eye Clinic with Dr. Permack who provided a very thorough eye exam and took the time to review and explain the results to me. He was very patient and knowledgable in answering all of my questions and concerns. The clinic staff were all very welcoming and professional as well and made it easy for me to join as a new patient. I will be returning and would definitely recommend to others.

I highly recommend Dr. Laurie after seeing him for ~5 years in Etobicoke. Writing this review after my first visit to his University Eye Clinic. Same Dr. Laurie, he does a great job explaining what he's looking for in the exam, always welcoming and friendly - couldn't ask for more. The new location is easy to get to, no sitting around waiting, everything is run efficiently. 5/5!
