I bought a concealer recommended by a beauty advisor. I don't do make up often so when I try it after 60 days it is so off my skin shade. So disappointing that I can not exchange and now forced to buy a new shade. Very disappointed with the beauty advisor recommendation.

I booked a 15 lash extension here yesterday for an event I am attending this weekend, and I woke up this morning with 3 of the strips stuck to my face and the leftover ones fell off by breakfast. The woman who did them had little or no experience with applying them and said as much in front of the manager. The manager made a brief appearance at the beginning of the appointment but didn’t return to see how things were going, which was not good. I am now scrambling to find somewhere else to go to get some lashes properly put on before my event. I suggest the manager properly train her staff before accepting appointments. Especially for people going to an event. Won’t be back.

I receive sms notifications when Sephora has sales etc and I find it so frustrating that they never carry enough inventory. If I don’t have time to check out the sale immediately upon getting the text, there’s pretty much no point in checking it out at all. Because everything is always sold out and it’s a massive disappointment and waste of time.On a positive note, I do like the curated birthday gifts, the free samples with every order, the free shipping on every order, and the staff in store are always super helpful and knowledgeable.

Cynthia the person who helped me find the things I was looking for was so nice and accommodating! I was hesitant at first to ask for help but Cynthia approached me first and made me feel so comfortable. They even matched me with the perfect foundation shade! Terrible customer service and extremely racist staff. I walked in with my friend and there were two girls standing by the front. One of them said hi, so we thought they were talking to us and my friend preceded to ask them if they had a product she wanted. They both blatantly ignored us and started talking to the people behind us and didn’t say a word to us at all. They hire the most hateful, stuck up snobs in the whole city.

I visited Sephora July 9 2023. I have been to Sephora before, but this was the first time I ever spoke with a beauty advisor. Shannel was absolutely amazing. She never left my side and I ended up purchasing more than what I intended to, and not because Shannel was high pressure sales. She let the product speak for itself. She listened to what I was trying to achieve and then found the products I needed! I purchased elephant drops, hydralonic drops and yes she colour matched my foundation no one has ever done that before. So if you ever drop into Sephora at Orchard Park Shopping Center check out Sephora and if your really blessed Shannel will be working!

I absolutely love sephora!! The products are always good and you can get honest advice but the employees. I will say that they aren't the best at restocking fast though. I went there for that drunk elephant moisturizer and it's only available in two sephoras all across calgary!! But they also can scan you skin to see what it needs which is accurate and helpful. Definitely recommend going here for any skincare or makeup!
