Kathy was a bit heavy handed for our first time couples counselling. Would not recommend

Went here for marriage counselling and was advised by counsellor the two following items:1. happy wife happy life2. if you don't adjust, you will be eating ichiban for the rest of your life.Basically it helped move the marriage to a divorce, not great for me and would not recommend to anyone.

Expensive... Just to get charged to file paper work and get send home a photocopy of a page from a book

Writing this review in the hopes that others can avoid my experience. Kathy is not equipped to treat trans patients in any capacity let alone issues related specifically to transness.I ended up cutting our first session short by 30 minutes but in the 30 minutes we did speak she managed to:-ask if I had completed" my transition-tell me that

Cathy is very good actually she is amazing have a very long experience and the Reception is very good. Highly recommend

I highly recommend against Kathy if you suffer from mental health issues. She will make your depression and anxiety worse. And rage. Fortunately, I found a really good, empathetic, caring psychologist to help me recover finally after visiting with Kathy I think 3x? (Rick Lebell - he's my hero, Lebell & Associates). It has been a few years now and it STILL enrages me every time I think about Kathy. I've never met someone so ill-fitted to help people in my life - She is very invaliditating, doesn't actually listen to what you have to say (somehow she knows more about you than YOU do, even upon just meeting her), completely arrogant and rude. I'm not sure what type of folks that Kathy can help, but if you are sensitive, suicidal, etc. - please use extreme caution. I hope this information helps!

Great counsellors who care about you and work to build a working relationship with their clients. Counselling has been challenging in ways where you learn more about yourself and are encouraged to be open in a place that is safe to do so. Definitely recommend going here.
