Smart Movers

I have a big farm, barn, garage and 2 bedroom house. Josh, Victor and Jacob arrived on time, and gave me a heads up when we reached the estimate of cost. I said, carry on. They even got the porta potty up on the truck and the riding lawn mower. The workers were amazing in ON. Moving to NS required a storage service, and on the requested move into the new home, the three men that came were as good as the first three. This time Josh, Jacob and Chris came and got everything off loaded. They even offered to take things to the new container, if it had arrived on time. I was so impressed because you often hear of a lot of negative reviews, and I was nervous. I am thrilled with Jeff and his team and even bragged to my real estate agent as to how good they were. I would certainly recommend them over any others that I had contacted for this move.

I used Smart Movers Atlantic twice, to move furniture from Ontario to New Brunswick and move my entire apartment + extras from Halifax to New Brunswick. The movers were very professional and took the care to wrap and carefully package all my belongings. Nothing arrived damaged or broken. Jeff and his team did a great job and I would absolutely hire them again if I needed to move anywhere in Eastern Canada.

I would definitely recommend Smart Movers. Jeff was very responsive throughout the process. The guys that helped me moved from Fredericton to Bridgewater were super helpful and everything arrived in great condition. One thing to note is by default, if the movers don't take your furniture apart, they will not reassemble it. If your furniture is already taken apart (or has not been put together) and you would like the movers to assemble it at your destination, make sure to make a clear request when reserving.

As usual, Smart Movers did a first-class job. Chris, Josh and Chris were friendly, helpful and even changed something that was my mistake without complaint. Jeff is easy to work with and does his best to meet your schedule. We have moved many times, and Smart Movers are the ones we always use now. Very impressed with how well wrapped everything is, and also how they use carpets to keep out the mud and dirt. Very highly recommend.

My wife hired Smart Movers Atlantic to move our friend from Saint John, NB to Hamilton, ON. Jeff Smith quoted $ 2624.54 for the move of approximately 125 boxes (this was competitive with other movers), verbally agreed not to charge additional fees if they had to store the boxes while waiting for other shipments to fill up the truck, and then reneged on this agreement and refused to release our boxes until we pay a revised total of $ 5029.08When the additional funds exceeded the ability to pay via e-transfer they called multiple times, and demanded cash payment.Jeff Smith from Smart Movers Atlantic claimed a 4-day turnaround from estimate to scheduling the move is the reason they had to incur warehousing fees"

Really safe and professional movers. I vetted all the quotes and while theirs was a higher than most - all those other movers underestimated the amount of stuff (on purpose it seems) and they had bad reviews. So glad I choose Jeff at Smart Movers. They were very careful and considerate and I got a reduction in price after they weighed my items.All arrived in the same condition and were carefully offloaded to different floors at my new home. This was a cross provinces move from Ontario to New Brunswick. You can trust these guys and that was a huge factor.

I was pleased with my experience with Smart Movers. I had items to move from Guelph to Charlottetown and they were helpful in providing an accurate price estimate and quote. There are always challenges with moving things remotely (I was in Charlottetown for the whole process- be very clear with your instructions to whoever is helping you on the remote end), but they listened and were responsive to my concerns. Ultimately my move was successful and my items arrived just one week after they were picked up. I was kept as informed of dates and times as possible. Josh, my mover, was exceptionally friendly and did a great job transporting my belongings into my new apartment. Everything was in good condition.I would recommend using Smart Movers.

I used Smart Movers to move from New Brunswick back home to Ontario. They were great and very responsive! I was a little hesitant because I have never moved by myself before and using a company I have never used before but Jeff and his team were great! Prices were very reasonable too! Thank you Smart Movers! I would definitely recommend if you are moving to or from the east coast! If I ever move back to the East Coast I would use Smart Movers again!

We moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia and Jeff and the team did a fantastic job. Everything arrived intact, they had blankets to wrap all the furniture and were friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest service but would definitely recommend!
