The Landscapes - Lake of Bays

The best cottages I've ever experienced in Canada. Absolutely amazing. Great beaches. Best pool ever with a waterfall for the kids. You can go kayaking. There is a trampoline on the lake beach. Fire pits all around and a great get away for the family over any long weekend or longer. We have been going there for five years. Highly recommend if you can afford it!

Had the pleasure of spending a day here with friends, wonderful grounds and amenities with great access to the lake with amazing views and sunsets. Enjoy if you get the chance.

A truly excellent resort style cottage. Fractional Ownership. Comfortable, fully stocked, 5 star amenities like pool, hot tub, boathouse with decks and indoor area. Club house with games, books and pool table. Tennis Courts, basketball, volleyball, canoes, paddleboards and kayaks, winter Skating and more .....

Such a beautiful area. People were friendly and the staff keeps the grounds clean and beautiful. I was only visiting so i dont know much about the amenities. But i can tell you its very quiet.

Excellent accommodation, and amenities. Even the outdoor hot tub was available and marvelous ( in the snow)!

Very upset but place was beautiful. Registry collection advertising with pet and when we got there pets were not allowed. They allegedlly sent an email 3 days before with an overview that arrived in our junk mail. Which said pets allowed with approval only. We never got it

Here’s an update. They are now treating us with extreme prejudice by blackballing us from ever booking again.This is outrageous!Below is my review of September 2019‘We stayed here a few years ago and were told they do allow dogs in some units. This year we booked specifically saying we have a dog with us. They took our money and then, 3 days before departure, told us dogs are not allowed in this unit and did nothing to correct it. We have incurred $4K in extra expenses to bring the dog and now have no one to take care of him. Travelling across country with a dog requires direct flights only. If the airline has to remove your dog and put it on a connecting flight, that's when mistakes are made. Dogs have gone missing for days and turned up in another country. No pet owner would risk this. WestJet has the best record. We live on an island so with the dog we have to book a ferry and the direct flights leave very early so an overnight airport hotel on both ends is necessary. We also purchased a crate. $4K in total. If we'd been told about the no dog policy in any of their communications (3 in total) since April, we would have terminated the booking. Their only suggestion was a dog in a kennel down the road. Why would anyone incur the expense and subject their dog to a cross country flight, a 3hr car trip to be left in a strange place without its owners? And another expense. After several phone calls and an email to the president asking them to fix this, they have point blank refused to do anything. They have made no mention of refunding any of our money and the Resort Administrator, who made the mistake, called us liars and then fabricated untruths! Days from departure I struggled to find someone to take care of the dog. Mistakes happen in the hospitality business but this was poorly handled from the beginning and left us in an unacceptable situation.’

Absolutely beautiful jewel in the Muskokas. Spent 5 days at a friend's cottage and enjoyed myself immensely. The grounds are meticulously kept and the amenities are limitless and well maintained. Spend time soaking in the hot tub or go for a walk and take in nature in all its glory. Sunsets are spectacular. Close by to quaint town centres for some casual shopping. Pride of ownership shines through and through. So glad to have enjoyed a positive and memorable experience!
