We were really interested in one of their dogs, but they would not share details in her file or able to answer our questions in detail. You would think that after 6 months of holding a dog, they know what it likes or doesn't like.

Our town desperately needs this place. It saves so many innocent cats and dogs lives everyday. Also, is a great place for my kids, they love going here.

Those people are the best. Did you know that it's a no-kill shelter. That means if you have a pet you can no longer care for for whatever reason. Don't drop it off at the edge of town or in the industrial site.

Went there to adopt a dog. Due to the violent nature of the dog that we were not told about we had to return it a week later. We gave the dog a wonderful 1 week vacation but decided it was best for both parties to return the dog. We live hours about of town and we called to see if we can our $300 back and they said Yes, how wonderful. We drive 3 hours back into med hat to drop off the dog and get our money back but they said no its non refundable, took the dog, and stuck him in the kennel. Terrible service, how could you tell us 1 thing on the phone and not honour it. Not cool.

I had to use the emergency boarding program and I have nothing but good things to say about it! The staff were kind informative and very helpful. During a very difficult. They were able to help by taking in our pets and caring for them until we were able to secure housing. This program allowed us to not have to surrender our long-term members of the family and I will forever be grateful for the services they provided to us I could not say enough good things about the Medicine Hat SPCA and how they were able to help in our time of need.
