Dildo Boathouse Inn
Beautiful rooms, right on the water. We stayed in the King suite with large soaker tub and ocean view. You have everything you need in the room with option to use private patio entrance. Very close to everything, we walked to the brewery one evening. Very good restaurant on premises.Only one small issue in that the cold water tap was essentially just a trickle which was a bit of an issue when trying to fill up the tub as the hot water alone was way too hot.

Clean and neat. Beautiful views. Friendly people. Wonderful boat tour with Captain Dennis. My only complaint is the size of the shower.

Really enjoyed the hospitality and over all feel from the room and staff. Food was a tad slow getting out but to be fair it was a beautiful, very busy day. The mussels were a little over cooked and the Gravy was cold and the fish batter was soggy on its underside but otherwise cooked well. Aside from those imperfections, it was a lovely evening. Captain Dennis has a wonderful singing voice although his performance was unwanted by the guests next to our table.

Amazing experience. The views are incredible. Highly recommend any of the boat tours. The rooms are gorgeous and immaculately cleaned. The food and staff are top notch. Can’t wait to go back.

Probably one of the better designed rooms I have had in a hotel. Just large enough, functional and cozy. I noticed details like the locations of wall plugs for the ever-present devices we carry. The air conditioning is located outside the room and is totally silent plus it does not blow air in your face like 99% of hotels. Stair access is from outside or the other exit to the inside staircase to the restaurant. Quiet location and comfortable bed. I met the owner by chance and found that he built the live edge tables and other decor items found around the inn. We did not try the menu due to time constraint, but the restaurant offers a beautiful ocean view from any seat. Would recommend to anyone!

Great location. We were at season end so the setting was like a horror movie. We felt like we were there alone. Rooms are renovated. Very nice. Direct entrance from outside. There is a bar and some boat cruise but we missed. Yeah! Not bad would visit again!

The menu is seafood centered as you would expect. We did arrive a little late in the evening on a Sunday night yet we were seated to a magnificent view of the bay as the sun set for the day.Our Fish 'n Chips and Seafood Platter arrived after some time but it was fresh, delicious, and cooked as necessary.In the opinion of me and my wife, we really enjoyed this spot for the food and for the view. It was a great experience for a casual seafood meal in the heart of Newfoundland.
