I do not recommend this place. Their service is awful and they are rude.

I don’t recommend this place, I took my dress for a wedding because it was too long, the lady measured all around, I even wore high heels to get it measured, I paid 85$, when I picked it up, they didn’t asked me to try it on. I went home and found out the dress was still too long! I could literally step on it! I brought it back for them to fix it and they wanted me to charged another $35 to do the job again, the lady was very rude, took my dress and never coming back!! NEVER!!!

After having read the reviews I’m surprised that some people were not pleased with the services done. I dealt with Sue, very pleasant and bilingual. I brought her two pair of jeans. One pair to be hemmed and one pair that needed to be taken in at the waist. She showed me how she would take in the waist and asked if I was satisfied with her recommendation. I picked them up today. There were perfectly done! I would recommend this seamstress to anyone and I am satisfied with the amount paid for the work done. Thank you Sue for your work.

I paid to have a pair of jeans hemmed and the lady at the service counter gave me my ticket to retrieve them when they would be ready the next day. The following day I arrived with my ticket and she said I did not pay and wanted to charge me again. What business makes alterations on clothes and makes the client pay afterwards , if that was the case unsatisfied customers would refuse to pay when receiving their items. I did get my jeans but will not be going back

My wedding dress is stuck here while the mall is closed until May 4th. It's impossible to reach anybody. No one has contacted me about possible returning my dress to me. No one knows how much longer non-essential services will be closed for so they should have at least contacted their clients who are actively waiting for important garments!

Went to get a jacket adjusted to my size. Saw a woman there on a Wednesday, she informed me that the man who would alter my coat will call me on Thursday to give me a price estimate and my coat will be ready that same Friday. I explained to her what I need done, told her the sleeves were too long and the shoulders too broad. I explained to her that the length and sizing of the coat otherwise is fine because I’m of a tall built. I spoke to the man on the phone on Thursday after he had left a message asking me to call back and confirm the price. He also confirmed that the coat would be ready by Friday. I made my way there on Friday expecting to pick up a coat, and nothing was done. According to him, they had never confirmed that it would be ready by Friday etc etc. He then mentioned that I should put on the coat and let him take my measurements again. He said that the measurements previously taken by the woman I saw on Wednesday were off. He took my measurements once more, mentioning that it was a man’s coat so that a few alterations would have to be made around the waist and the back. He apologized for the misunderstanding, reassured me that I hadn’t travelled there for nothing and that at least we got the proper measurements for my coat. He told me thatit would be ready by Monday the following week. I went to pick up the coat on Tuesday and the shoulders were still broad.... I didn’t quite understand why. I called to tell him that he hadn’t fixed the size properly, and he told me that we had never agreed on him altering the shoulders.... but we had! He then told me to pass on the weekend and that it will be an extra 50$ to alter the shoulders. At this point, the service has been very confusing and borderline unprofessional. Will never go back there again. Part of what make a coat “big” are the shoulders. He saw my frame, and measured me, but had the audacity to tell me we hadn’t agreed on making the shoulders smaller. How!? If that was the biggest part of me going there in the first place. He fixed a bunch of things I didn’t care for and left out the most important part. Now I’m walking around with broad shoulders and a snatched waist... find the mistake.

Employee is friendly, seems like quite busy also. If you have time to wait and check to make sure your clothes are done properly I would expect good service.

This seamstress is a gem of a find! Her work is seamless and gives new life to clothes that just don’t fit right. Clothes are ready in a very timely manner (1-2 weeks) and the prices are very affordable. If what you buy at HBC doesn’t fit quite right, just take a left and pass it by for a quick fix!

I left a torn coat, a pair of jeans to be hemmed and requested that a pair of men's sized snow pants be hemmed to that of a child's size (without losing the elastic at the ankle) and everything was done to perfection within 2 days at a reasonable price.
