The drive thru line was a little long but the wait for the fresh milkshake and burger is worth it. The portions are generous and the poutine was perfect for sharing. I recommend getting the Oreo milk shake.

Kids live the old-fashioned experience of walk-up ordering fast food. Milk shakes are unlike the kind you might get at other hamburger chains. So many flavours (we were doing math while waiting to calculate how many combinations a person could ever try). They mix it up fresh. Generous serving of family size fries means nobody cries about not getting enough. Onion rings are also yummy. Burgers are good but I prefer hotdog myself.

Only stopped for a shake but it was one of the best. Nostalgic experience as the place is a classic Calgary destination. The shake itself that thick and choice of flavours or combinations was in the thousands. If you are passing on a hot summer day, be sure to stop.

This review is solely based on the food, not milkshakes. Got a double cheese burger, and it was not seasoned at all. You'd think a double cheeseburger would get 2 slices of cheese, but no.Also, I got a poutine, and the fries are soggy, and the lack of cheese is laughable. Skip the food and stick to their milkshakes

We used to be regulars at the original Peters in Calgary with the original owner that was a well oiled machine food and service was top notch. We saw that one had opened in Red deer and went for lunch today you would never know it was the same restaurant as the one in Calgary. There we’re only 4 staff we went in to order at one time we counted 35 people waiting with us for their food. We got burgers fries and onion rings what a disappointment the burger patty was a 1/4 inch thick with no real taste looked way over processed fries and rings were ok at best but very underwhelming. They are really ridding the old reputation with the choices today for excellent burgers they don’t even rate.

Great for place for burgers and shakes. The beef burgers were great and you get to customize them as you please. I would skip the veggie burger, it was basically a Costco black bean patty and not worth the money. The milk shakes were fantastic. It's a cool spot and busy all times of the day. A must visit if you come to Calgary.
