Saved our bacon ! We were driving my son's (not so gently used vehicle) car to Toronto and given it was running rough decided to give it a last minute check. Great service, showed us what was wrong, fixed it right away and all for a very reasonable price. We are from Toronto but if we were Canmore residents, this would be the place where we would bring our vehicles...old fashioned honest car mechanic work is what you can expect to get here. 5 Stars all around.

Highly recommended. I've had two vehicles fixed at this garage, and both times the whole process was so easy and painless. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He does very good work and I found the cost of the service to be extremely fair. I really appreciated the time the owner took to show and explain to me the work that was done when I asked him. I would definitely use double E again in the future.

Driving through Canmore and noticed a squealing/grinding coming from one of the wheels in my car. Called this shop close to the end of the day but they were able to fit me in right away. It turned out to be a small rock jammed in behind a metal plate near the brakes. The mechanic was very helpful and showed me exactly what was wrong and how to deal with it if it happens again. Didn’t even charge us since it was a quick fix. I would highly recommend Double E Motors.

We have taken our vehicles here for tune ups and repairs, we have never been disappointed. We highly recommend Double E Motors to all of our friends...Best mechanic in the Bow Valley.

For the past 3 years Erdem has been taking care of my vehicle and I could not be happier with the service I have received! Not only does he take the time to explain what I need done and why I need it, in addition, I never have any concerns after he has done the work. His pricing is great. I needed someone in Canmore to do an inspection on a car I was looking to buy. Erdem was very flexible in working with the car owner to find a time to get the car in. He personally test drove the car and called me with the report. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection and the customer service provided by Erdem. The people who were selling the car told me they were going to switch garages and take their other cars to Double E.

My brother in law came into town with a beater" of a car and just wanted to know if it was possible to drive it to Ontario without spending an arm and a leg. Erdem reviewed the car and about 90 minutes later he had the car up on a lift with the wheels off and with a flashlight showed us exactly what was wrong and what it would cost to fix it. Very fast. He had actually already fixed a couple of small items. We agreed on the (very reasonable) charges

My wife and I were coming through Canmore on a road trip when our car started making awful rattling noises. We were only in town for a day, but the guy who runs the place graciously offered to fit us in at 4:00, even though he was busy. A quick examination showed it was a loose piece of heat shielding around the exhaust. He removed the offending part, and had me on my way within 10 minutes. I would have been more than willing to pay a premium for a last minute repair like that, even if it only took 5 minutes, but he didn't charge me a penny.

These two are so fun! Buying a used car has such a negative reputation, but at Double E it was honestly just so fun. They were very patient, extremely educated on their product and process, and were so willing to help at every turn, even if that meant a referral elsewhere. Thankfully, we didn't need to be referred! They had fantastic stock to choose from, and even after a last minute pivot to a different model, they not only accommodated but did so on an extremely tight timeline. They stayed late, and worked over time to ensure that we could have our new car on a road trip to see family, they worked with our bank to work out unexpected wrinkles, and get us safely on our way. They're just... absolute gems. For us, it was the right car at the best price, but we will be back because of them, not only because of their cars or prices, it's because they genuinely care.
