We’re a Canadian fast food restaurant chain, famous for our Japanese food which we cook fresh on our teppan grill with our signature teriyaki sauce. Food is fine and I’ve never been dissatisfied, but anytime I walk into any other Edo Japan, I am greeted with an enthusiastic hello by both front counter and kitchen staff. That is sadly not the case at this location and it takes away from my usually fabulous Edo experience. I wasn’t even acknowledged until after standing at the counter waiting to be helped the cashier finally, quietly and with little to no joy. In their defence, it’s 15 minutes before close but I have been spoiled by all other Edo experiences and now I’ve come to expect that Edo charm! I will come back cause I love Edo and these guys are so close to home. Will consider upping this to 4 stars so long as I’m greeted as as I expect to be walking into an Edo Japan! In addition, as I left, I gave enthusiastic thank you as I always do when, leaving a restaurant, and I got absolutely nothing in return. No acknowledgement whatsoever.. I understand the food service is a challenging business, but it is very important for Edo’s brand that these guys deliver a better experience.

Excellent food and friendly service. Lacking their original hot sauce and substituted it for something not as tasty. But it's not about the sauce but the food and its good.

Tried to give this place a second chance Completely got my order wrong for the second time and missed items that should come with the bowl . Didn’t even let us know while ordering . Portions are small compared to other Edos.

Disapointing sushi, for the amount we paid the rolls were nothing but rice cucumber and paper thin salmon, even some of the avocado rolls bought were only rice!? Really upsetting as the sushi use to be great.

Very disappointed in this location. Gave it another try after a horrible first experience but it was still the same. Portion size is tiny compared to other locations. We get about 1/4 meat of other locations. I asked for less rice more veggies and I got the opposite. My beef was all burnt. Will not be returning.

Ordered online through their app. They got it right. It was ready and warm at pickup. My only problem is that overall portion size is significantly less than a few years ago, now that they use the new style containers. So we need to pay extra $4 per person for almost the same amount of meat we would get before.

We grabbed lunch here today and we’re very happy. The food was great and the service was excellent. The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.

We were so excited for edo at this location, but i don't think we will return. They are cheap on their sushi. Every piece is so small, you can count strings of crab meat on california roll. I would travel further for edo.

I love Edo and have been a consistent customer for years so I was excited to give a new location closer to home a try. I was left disappointed. I've tried this location multiple times as it is less than 3 minutes from my house, and have sadly been let down each time.The quality is more or less consistent as other locations, however, the portion sizes are really just abysmal. I get a sumo sized teriyaki chicken, and it barely fills the container, whereas if I pay more at other locations the containers are consistently filled.I want this location to thrive, but if it doesn't get its stuff together, and start giving standard portions, I don't think I'll ever return.
