Nanaimo Baby Photography

We absolutely loved working with Heather. We went for newborn photos and the photos that we got were amazing. She had a wonderful setup for babies and was so gentle and loving with our newborn son. She also had so many great props and outfits to choose from. Price was reasonable and we could not be happier with our photos and experience. Will definitely be going back!

We had our daughter's one year cake smash through Nanaimo Baby Photography. The photographer was very nice, but we were very disappointed by the quality of the pictures we received. Some of them were blurry and slightly out of focus. We tried viewing them on different devices (MacBook pro, iPhone, PC etc) and they all showed up the same. We tried printing out prints to keep, but unfortunately our favourite pictures were the worst of the bunch. My husband and I can't figure out what happened because her work on her website/Facebook page does not reflect the quality of the images we received. When we contacted the photographer she intially spent a long time trying to defend her work but ultimately offered to retake our pictures if we wanted. Unfortunately my daughter's outfit was already ruined from the shoot and I would have had to order another cake so financially when we were already out 250+ on pictures/outfit and cake this just didn't make any sense. She then offered to reimburse us, which we appreciated but didn't feel right taking money back from her. Overall, I'm so dissapointed because what should have been a great milestone memory was mostly a waste of money. Would not use or recommend this photographer.

We had the BEST experience with Heather at Nanaimo Baby Photography! She was able to get some gorgeous photos for our son’s cake smash to celebrate his first birthday and I absolutely loved that she also had bath pictures to try and clean up some of the mess! Thanks again Heather - we’ll treasure our son’s photos forever and will definitely recommend all our island friends to look you up in the future!

We just got our mini valentines session done with Heather and she is simply Amazing ! She’s very patient and has this gentle energy with our son . She’s very quick at sending you the photos , they turned out just like I remembered her capturing them! Very pleased and look forward to booking his 1yr photos / cake smash with her. We recently hired Heather to do some Christmas photos of our 3 year old son, and the photos couldn't have come out any better! Heather is very professional and has an inviting calm demeanor, she did a great job of interacting with our shy-to-start son to make him comfortable and laugh. Her studio is lovely, and has everything you can imagine. You can tell she has a love for photography, and people! We will definitely be coming back for more photos in the future :)
