My children love this school!

I contemplated many times before writing this review but felt it was important to write to share my experience. My child was registered in this location and within 2.5 weeks since starting (of which the entire time was a transitionary period of under 3 hours in class), the administration decided that my child was not a good fit for the school which they shared via email. When I requested for a meeting to discuss, which they obliged, to identify strategies to set my child for success, the administration said they would give us a month to take our child out of school. Needless to say, as parents we were appalled at their approach. We decided to pull out our child immediately as the administration clearly had made their mind and didnt want to give our child the opportunity. My child was fortunate to get registered in another preschool in the same city and has thrived since day 1 in his new environment and is still going strong.As a parent, I hope that administration will never have the same approach that they did with our child where one writes a child off within 2.5 weeks instead of giving them an opportunity to do well.

Westwood McVicar is great! They have a brand new facility that has so much light and good energy. My son loved going to the senior toddler class. His teacher there was so kind and loving towards all the kids. He is now in the 3 to 5 class and his teachers are equally amazing. He is thriving in class especially with the structure and he always comes home talking about his teachers and friends. He brings tons of arts and craft home from school and loves singing the songs he learns from daycare. I cannot recommend this daycare enough. I have also found that the Daycare Manager is very responsive to emails and inquiries, which is so great as a parent with lots of questions.

This school has been amazing! They take so much care to make the children feel comfortable and really nurture their individual interests. Teaching the kids how to do things for themselves has also been very empowering for my kid. He really loves going here and loves his teachers as well.

By far the best daycare experience we've had! We switched from another daycare to WM McVicar and we are so glad we did! School is extremely organized, sending notifications out to parents, Leah (manager) replies to my emails in a timely manner, and most importantly the teachers are incredible and loving towards the children. My daughter is in the full day daycare program (3-5 years old), and LOVES her teachers. Very happy mama here!

My children have been throught the Jr toddler, Sr Toddler and Daycare class. They are happy to go every day and I have had a great experience with the teachers and management.

If can give 0, I will give 0 star! The worst preschool and daycare! Please do not send your child !!! The teacher will doubt your child with issues，suppress them!!My daughter attended to preschool firstly , the teacher always said I can not do that… only 5 children at her class, if you can not take care,why you take this job?? She asked my daughter to daycare class. Ok, I sent my daughter to daycare,on her second day, the teacher begins doubting her if had some issues? my daughter told me the class was so boring, and she just didn’t response the teachers immediately. Is there have any responsibility , patience, passion of the teachers? Sooooo I transfer My daughter to another preschool, she is so happy and both teachers like and praise her ! Recently, I heard my friend’s child left the school at another location, she saw her child at crossroad !!!but teacher even did not that!!! Thankfully, I already transferred my daughter to another childcare!
