Durham Regional Police - West Division

Have been here twice to file two seperate police reports. The officers have always been extremely considerate and professional. Especially Officer Mackenzie, who was an incredible person to talk to. She genuinely cared about our safety and well-being

I was a victim of cyber fraud/scam and I visited the police station where I was told from the door to make an online report and an officer would visit me or contact me. I did make an online report and received a permanent case number but no officer ever called me nor they know what is happening with this case number. I have enormous evidences but no one seems interested. This happened in April 2022 and I am still waiting for any kind of response from Durham Regional Pickering Police. Is this how police service here? Hugely dissappointed!

Not a fan, a lot of good apples being held down by a few rotten ones. As a white male who is not a liberal I find issues with the old school tactics and ways of policing. Targeting youth and young drivers. Failure to appropriately communicate with the mentally challenged. Failure to lower tensions during calls. Once again this is not all officers just a standout few. Please strive for understanding and patience. Listen before actions. Thank you!

Horrible Division. Perfect example of a waste of tax payer dollars. I visited from Toronto and had my car involved in a Hit and run. I provided the officer who responded *Michael Hulsman* with all the information possible from the video footage, Plate Number, and witness information only to be sent in circles with the results. I will be speaking with his superior to file a formal complaint as this issue has still not been resolved since October 2021. Michael seems to be struggling locating the vehicle as One month he states the car is in a Toronto address and now I'm getting an email months later stating its traced to Barrie. he refuses to send me the contact information of his supervisor when I've asked and also refuses to show the report of the investigation he's conducting. I've also requested to have the case reassigned to another officer and he refuses to do that. At this point I've exhausted all my options to be fair and understanding when in return I'm getting treated like a chore. This will get escalated and since Justice cant be done at the hands of the establishment I believe and stand for, I'll have to take this matter to someone who will uphold their oath to serve the public.

Nice people, but everytime I contact them I get ignored, told to fill our a form, and never hear from them again. My car has been defiled by a screwdriver, had its tires slashed it was broken into, and everytime I've tried to report, they've told me to fill out a form and then sit there and wait for nothing to happen.

I have filed a complaint of domestic violence against my husband in mid December,2018. The officers came and took my statement and the name of witnesses. My only daughter was one of the witnesses. Since then I have not heard anything from anyone. I tried to contact them a few times but got nothing but run around. Left few messages but no one called me back either. Finally I went to the Durham region 19 division office today and found out that the file has been closed due to not having enough evidence. I was surprised and was very upset that I wasn't even informed about it. I was given the contact number of the officer who was handling my file to call and find out. Again I called and no answer. Left a message with no call back. I am very frustrated and am already mentally and emotionally stressed which is affecting my health and work. It's really sad to find out that there is no support from the Durham Police regarding this.

I think are Pickering poilce are amazing what they do !! They work hard and keep are street safe :) good jobs officers keep up the amazing jobs u guys do !

Disgusting behavior from the people who took a oath to protect & serve the community. Now you work as policy enforcement for the world economic forum. I complained first, 2 police officers came, but they talk first with whom I complain, also they cam and support them, thay didn't even listen my complaint and my points of views, also one of them talk about his personal life.They give their contact no to other party, but they didn't give the contact nos to me.This is not fair, such a bad experience.....I don't know how they going to save people., and where we need to complain if anything happens to us....
