He does a thorough eye exam and all...however...I was interested in trying a different brand of contact lenses. He went ahead and ordered me a trial pair and later told me I had to pay for a fitting and trial. I've been wearing contact lenses for 15 years...why would I even think I needed to pay 90 something dollars to try a pair of (crappy lenses btw). Anyways...he said the amount spent on the trial could be used to order lenses from him (which are expensive) when I oay half the price online. Long story short....I was not willing to go back somewhere where I felt ripped off.

I recently went to Dr. Strohan and received one of the most thorough exams I have ever had. He was professional and meticulous. If you want a real eye exam with results you can have confidence in, then I highly recommend him.

I recently went in to see Dr Strohan for an eye exam as I was looking for an Optometrist closer to my home. He spent the time understanding my situation and I asked him to bring my previous records over to provide a history. When the visits were completed and my new lens arrived, my vision was now 20/20 ... a shock to me because I don't remember a 20/20 vision test for me in at least 30 years! My previous Optometrist did not spend the time dealing with, and understanding my issues, like Dr Strohan has done. I am very pleased with the results, and his pricing was fair. I will continue to use Dr Strohan as his dedication to his craft has resulted in better eye care for me.

Just started seeing Dr Strohan last year. His examination was certainly the best I've ever had. I would recommend him without reservation. And there's an added bonus in the shape of Ozzie, who I'm told does not eat bats. He's an adorable pup.

I have been depending on Dr R. Strohan for many years now for vision health care and top quality glasses. I find him very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Several years ago, during a routine examination of my wife's eyes, he diagnosed signs of the beginning of diabetes. Because of the early diagnosis, she has been able to live with it with minimal interference to her normal routine. Thank you.

Dr. Strohan has been my eye care provider for more than 30 years. During that time he not only has provided me with excellent vision care but also looked after the health of my eyes. Any optometrist can provide corrective lenses but if you want someone to tell you what's happening with the health of your eyes, he is the eyecare specialist to see.

It was my first time getting my eyes checked in a few too many years more then I care to admit to but I have to say I was very impressed with my examination. I believe every type of test was done and I was done quickly and efficiently. I was given an explanation at the end. I do have a follow up in about a month and I'm looking forward to seeing Dr.Strohan again. Thanks.
