Counter Attack Krav Maga

Tuesdays and Thursdays are my favourite days of the week! Love learning Krav Maga in a great atmosphere. Nick is the best!

Get to this club. You'll never experience a better instructor with a better understanding of Krav Maga. My kids love the specially designed kids classes.

I wanted to learn more than how to defend myself. I wanted to be able to take decisive action in the event I ever needed to defend my family or a loved one again. And I wanted to get back into shape. Nick at Counter Attack is an amazing teacher. His classes are fun. The people are kind. And the Krav Maga is deadly.

A great class with amazing atmosphere. Nick is a fantastic instructor and everyone in the class is very friendly and supportive. I have been attending regularly for 2 years and I would never consider switching to another facility.

Atmosphere: Great comradery and competitive spirit that encourages each person to develop their individual abilities in a fun environmentClass size: Generally less than 12 people per class.Physical nature: The exercises and combat/self defence techniques are practised in varying degrees of intensity, from shadow boxing to one-on-one scenarios, to multiple attackers at high intensity. Obviously, improving ones level of fitness is useful for the practicality of Krav Maga in real life situations.Facilities: Currently the class is held in a martial arts oriented studio. The floors are wooden and there are mirrors which help you visualize your movements. Change rooms are available for use. Warmer weather presents opportunities to practise outside.Value for money: The cost of membership is competitive to other self defence style classes. The cost of testing, if you wish to do so after several months of training, is more expensive than it should be but that's not a requirement.Summary: You will learn valuable life saving techniques and learn how to react in a manner that results in the highest probability of survival relative to the circumstances. This class is run by Nick and he has a very approachable style of teaching. He encourages each learner to challenge themselves and improve their own abilities.

Nick is an excellent instructor. He offers a deep and broad knowledge of practical self defense. His training is very practical and he is very engaging, welcoming questions and comments. As a fellow instructor, I admire Nick's consistent dedication hone his craft by refining his techniques and teaching. His students are in excellent hands!

Professional, experienced and amazing training. I have been training with nick for the past 2 after spending a year at another KM gym. The amount of training and knowledge i have gained with Counter Attack surpasses any other training I've had. Great atmosphere and Nick's instruction is very detailed and he takes the time to explain everything to you. He is extremely patient and a fantastic instructor. I would not be going to train anywhere else now. Thanks so much Nick and counter attack! You've got a lifer!
