Sat on the patio, which is right next to the street, so that's why only 4 stars for atmosphere. Had great service, food was excellent and the beer was cold and refreshing. Can't beat it for a place to chill and have a pint!

A little slow. Worried about making it to a show. Took a long time to get served, then for the food. But the food was very good and they tried hard. Hopefully, things speed up a little

My boyfriend and I are visiting from Ottawa and we decided to stop for supper. The food was great and the service was amazing.Tom, the bartender, is an amazing host! Great conversation! Thanks Tom for the amazing time.

First time here and went during our stay in Kingston at the Holiday Inn right bedside (Highly recommend staying there). We checked the menu online first which looked appealing which made us chose here. We also wanted to try an new place that we didn’t have in our area and avoid chain restaurants and wanted to support local. Weather for us was fantastic, outdoor patio is big and was fully packed with people. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the hostess and waitress were both friendly, welcoming and full of smiles. She was quick on checking on our drinks for top ups and the food came out hot and fast! The food was amazing and filling we had zero complaints about the food or service. We didn’t go inside so I can’t speak for that but we enjoyed our meal and the view on the patio. I’d deff recommend to others and we’d go back again.

Came here for dinner after a particularly bad day, everything was perfect. It has been at least a year since we were last here and I am not sure why it’s been so long. Drinks were great and the Cuban sandwich was delicious!Service was beyond outstanding. Thank you to our server Michelle. She was fun and engaging. Hope to see you again soon!!Darla and Tom

Ahh the merchant. Where do we start? Perhaps with the sticky floor, disgusting bathrooms, or unsanitary bartenders. This is probably the worst pub I have ever seen, let alone walked into in my life. I wish there was a negative 2 star rating, because that would be an accomplishment for this absolute piece of garbage that they call a pub. Congratulations on being the worst bar in Kingston, which is a feat in itself because I don’t think any actual bars even exist in this “city”. 2 stars for the atmosphere because the people in the bar were about 10x cooler than the bar itself.

Nice place to have supper late in the evening. Offers a wide variety of beers and has a good food menu. Would make the opportunity to go back if the opportunity arises.

This place is very well situated by the water. Patio service was great and it was very calming and welcoming to be here. I would definitely recommend coming here especially if Tom is behind the bar. Very knowledgeable and personable. Night life is a chill zone. Never a dull moment, perfect for a meal before/after a Frontenac game.

Had the chicken BLT. It was delicious! Definitely get the Cajun waffle fries as well. We liked the drinks. I had the frosted cranberry. Prices were average. Service was good. Really liked the vibe of the room we were seated in. Will definitely be back when I’m around the area!
