Great collective of items all in one place. Delivery and entire shopping experience is seamless. Always a happier day when my tasty treats arrive at the door!

This is a fantastic idea and I will support it going forward. Two thoughts on improvements.1 - don't have stock on the shelf that has been ordered online. It is frustrating to go to the till with something and then find out someone else ordered it and you can't buy it.2 - please find a really good beef (and other meat) jerky company.

I’ve only ever order online, but have had great experiences so far. Love the selection of locally produced ready to eat meals and they have great promotions. Tops faves are their Honest Dumplings, Little Bear Gelato, and Java Chef.

Consistently quality food products with an interesting variety. A great way to support smaller local producers!

As much as I want to give a 5 star review, I do have some feedback for the team at Uproot, which I'm hoping they can implement in the near future, which should help them to be better organized and can support both online and walk-in customers:I stopped in at Uproot on Wednesday, April 28 around 10am, which was the first day of their sale. Immediately, I noticed things were a little tight, but there weren't many customers inside. But, there was soon about 3-4 staff who were going around gathering product for all of the online orders that were coming in. All the product they were gathering was open to purchase by walk-in customers, like myself, as well.Let me preface this by saying that all the staff were super friendly and approachable.I browsed through all of the products and grabbed a few items that I wanted to purchase. I took my items to the till to purchase and the staff member started putting everything through. As she was going through my items, she then mentioned that she could not sell a couple of items to me. A little surprised I asked why and was told that these items were already sold to online customers. She then began to gather all of the remaining items of the product and shuffled them to the back.I was able to still purchase a couple of other items, but the other two items were the ones that I was looking forward to (hence why they sold out so quickly online).I left feeling negative about the experience and after a day, decided to write this review. I don't have any ill feelings towards Uproot and will return to see if I can purchase the items I was unable to, but I would like to suggest the following:1. If you are planning a sale and know that you only have a select number of items to sell, perhaps don't open your doors to walk in customers as it seems you prioritize your online customers over your walk-in customers.2. Purchase additional inventory for the sale so that you can fulfil both online and walk-in customers.I want Uproot to succeed here in Edmonton, but please realize that there are two types of customers who want to purchase your items, and by telling me you can't sell to me even though I had the items in hand, really made me feel like less of a priority.I would love to give you a 5 star review, but I don't feel like you treated me as a 5 star company would.Please reach out if you would like to discuss my experience, thank you!Edit: It looks like this has been a growing pain for months now. Please work on getting your online workflow down, you have customers who are getting frustrated.

Warning: delicious extra purchases ahead!Both the website and the store front are amazing. I love the variety and quality of all the products available. Supporting local has never been so easy or tasty! Cannot recommend enough!

I have never had a meat pie experience like this. These pies, no matter what kind, are the best things ever! The pastry is sublime. The filling is absolutely awesome. Words cannot describe these meat pies. The love and care put into them is very palpable. Keep it up, cuz I can’t stop eating these things!

Really great food, grown locally, made locally, supporting our local vendors. Really great people work here, the guys are really great and the beautiful girl who occasionally works the front is always friendly, informative and professional. One star taken away because of the prices and the Asian woman who told me I was not allowed to enter the establishment without a mask. I told her I had a medical condition and had to wait outside while she had to ask someone if i could come in, instead of using the logical thinking brain God gave her and some compassion for her fellow human being. Highly recommended to my friends and family alike! Please ensure all staff learns how to conduct themselves in a compassionate and professional way!

I'm in Calgary and made an online order. I received the order on time and it was dropped off packaged as if it had gone through the mail service. Received a text message to let you know the order had been dropped off. I looking forward to eating one of the items in my order and was disappointed that everything is frozen. It's also not packed in any packaging meant to conserve the frozen state of the food. If you are going to order, just take note of when it will be delivered so you can be home to receive your order.
