Downtown Dogs

Downtown Dogs is a great space to bring your pooch. We took our puppy in for obedience training classes, and he is now the most obedient dog we have met.We can't wait for the next set of classes - thanks again, Christine!

Our dog has been coming to daycare for over a year every day and he loves it! Everyone is kind and cares about the owners and the dogs. Have been recommending them to others as a great place to let your dog enjoy their day and not worry about them being bored or lonely!

I visited this daycare for an assessment. Although my puppy wasn't suitable at the moment (she was too anxious and overwhelmed by the new environment as she had never been to one before), I was impressed by the exceptional professionalism and care provided by Christine, the owner. She took the time to thoroughly assess each dog before admitting them into the daycare and also provided valuable advice on how to better prepare my dog for this type of environment. I truly appreciate her sincerity and expertise. Hope to come back in the near future when my pup's ready!

I LOVE this place and so does my pup! We've taken a couple of obedience classes here as well as some agility. Christine is a really great trainer, she uses a lot of positive reinforcement techniques.The daycare is great, my pup goes 1-2 times a week. There is always someone there watching them. My pup gets so tired that on the way home she can't even stay awake while sitting up!All the staff are super friendly too. I highly recommend this place!

Been using the groomer here for a couple of months, very happy with the cuts. AFAIK they only work on 1 dog at a time, so if your little one doesn't like chaos this should be a great option. (The doggie day care is downstairs, away from the groomer station.)

great full service place!! Daycare to run off the steam of a little puppy, training to help focus that steam as the puppy grows up, and grooming for when the steam gets to be a little too much. Christine runs a great place, all 3 of my dogs go there, with the pup being the regular. 2x week for daycare and consecutive training classes, excellent followup by emails for any issues, questions, help with those issues that you always have with a puppy or new dog. Kristy and Yoshika are excellent groomers and my dogs love them. Check them out on facebook - pics of the doggies at daycare! great friendly staff and always accommodating, no matter what you need!

This is a pretty small operation, so they can't always pick up the phone, especially if they're looking after lots of dogs. They're very pleasant and great with the dogs and to top it off their prices are quite reasonable. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a great daycare or for grooming, just don't forget that its a small operation and they can't always pick up the phone :)

Took our newly adopted dog here to get his nails clipped. Professional and speedy service as well as genuine care for animals. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Have a dog? Need daycare or grooming? Stop looking, because you've found the best shop in the area, hands down.It's really obvious when dogs are happy, engaged and controlled in their pack. You see this every day in this daycare. Staff are attentive, deeply knowledgable and clearly passionate about what they do.And grooming? Second to none. Dogs come out fresh, clean and beautifully groomed.You owe it to your dog - and yourself - to go see the Downtown Dogs crew. I can't recommend highly enough!
