We took the ferry from Digby to St. John and arrived at our hotel late in the evening. After seeing recommendations on social media, we decided to dine at this restaurant. Billy's food is beautifully crafted, and the seafood is excellent. We highly recommend trying the Digby scallops, which are a local specialty. Unfortunately, the mussels were sold out, but we still suggest giving them a try!

Went for dinner with the family. Service was a little slow but still friendly and apologetic. Pasta was good though not much difference between the pesto version vs the seafood medley version. Cajun stew (kinda like a paella) and fried chicken were a little bland but still enjoyable for the family. Mussels were quite tasty, and the oysters were nice too.

Really cool seafood spot...It is a long-standing location in St John.Both appetizers were delicious.. especially the scallops.Then we shared 2 plates that were a lot of food for 4.Fish and chips were crispy and tasty.. the fried clams which usually is no my thing were very good too.Well.. this is a must stop location when in town for sure...

We arrived at Saint John, N.B almost at 4pm and went to check the market. The restaurant is in the market with another entrance on the side street.We had checked this restaurant before and read reviews. I was dying to try the Digby scallops!Went in and were graciously approached by the server who confirmed no reservations available. We said we were from Ontario and were eager to try their menu and had read so much about the food. Say no more, she asked if we were comfortable in one of the high tables. Of course we were!!! She put a sign of Reserved in one of those and we returned at 6pm. We showed proof of vaccination as required.I ordered scallops and seafood chowder. Hubby ordered the $40 lobster roll. That was the moment I realized the scallops I had eaten before were fake". That was out of this world. The service was amazing as well!!! Absolutely loved the food and the service. We only found the portions quite small for the price but we would do it again!!"

Had to check this spot out 100 percent coming from Ontario and it did not disappoint. We ordered the lobster roll with poutine, the lobster Mac and cheese and oysters. The lobster roll was the best I have ever had. Just had the half roll and it was very filling. The bread was toasted perfectly and filled with lobster meat. The poutine was very good and their gravy is pretty unique, in a good way. The Mac and cheese was very good as well with nice chucks of lobster in it. This is a must try spot!

Best seafood I ever had!!! The oysters were fresh and delicious, the calamaris good but a bit too spicy and the seafood medley simply delicious!!! The service was great. A must try in Saint John.

We had a wonderful time there, the manager Cara was more than amazing!She managed to sort out the table for us, and made sure we were comfortable to every details.Seafood was really fresh, Spinach dip was worth dying for.

Located centrally in Saint John, a good site for seafood.Wonderful Seafood Chowder. Rich and full of flavour with just the right mix of seafood.Oysters were fresh. Both my lunch companion and I wish we had ordered more than the 6 we shared.The main entree I ordered, Lobster roll was a disappointing dish. Green onions overpowered the lobster, which was sharing the fresh bun with too much mayonnaise. Much of the lobster taste was masked over.Crab cakes were recommended and did not disappoint at all.Service was slow and inconsistent.Will be back to have the Oysters, crab cakes and that wonderful seafood chowder.

10/10 recommend, absolutely amazing!! From our server to the cleanliness. This was our “last night” of our trip and we wanted a nicer meal- this was it! The “stop light scallops” were so delicious and cute. Our server was such a lovely human and gave yummy and honest suggestions. Timing of everything was perfect. I truly can’t say enough great things- you’ll have to try it for yourself!
