Don’t have any surgery that isn’t literally to save your life. Healthcare has been defunded to such an extent the capacity for aftercare is not there at all. Do not agree to it. It doesn’t matter how great the surgical team is when there is no one to help you during recovery. This hospital is overwhelmed.

Over 6 hrs so far waiting,Many who came in after already gone home!I realize worst first but, most people they took before me are all done walked to parking lot and drove away! They def weren’t dying today! Mean while I’m just going to take my pain and go home! Obviously they don’t think I matter here!

As always when you come to the emergency, people are anxious, scared, and in pain, and there is not a lot of staff or information. However, in January 2021 during the Covid-19, I came to the emergency because I was on my fourth day of vomiting. After several hours of waiting, lying on the floor because I was too weak to sit up, I got to come in, and I got the best triage doctor I've ever had. Instead of sending me home with some stomach medication, as I had expected, he took his time with me, going through several different examinations, including a ct scan - which revealed a brain tumour. From that day in January, it only took three months before I had the surgery. All the staff, without exception, were professional, friendly, and caring. The help I've gotten after the surgery has also been very good. Thank you.

although the staff was very nice, the doctor didn't help at all...i went with my wife to the emergency department, because of an incredibly intense back pain that she feltwe waited 3 hours for the doctor to come in, ask us a few questions, have my wife do two stretches and say oh it's the muscles" and prescribe her painkillers (which do not work)the nurse forgot to give us the painkillers

Hospital is dirty and outdated. Patients have to be extremely patient and not be hungry. I was transfered here for a broken jaw operation and have been here a week now and still in the same bedding and have not even been offered anything to wash my face with not even mouthwash tto rince my mouth either. I was fed the least amount of carbs possible and even they serve the lunches in a small children sized plate to make people believe they are getting more than they are. The first questioned ask by the dietitians is have you lost any weight?" If the answer is no then the rest of the conversation is hushed and pretty much dismissed. I have noticed this due to the fact that I am diabetic on a slide scale insulin therapy. They have almost no gloves anywheres and even use regular brown paper to wipe blood off the patients body. I have a minor cut on the jaw that was made to decrease pressure from an abscess cause by the injury that has to be changed and cleaned daily with saline water that is usually done with sterile equipment that is used but with no saline water and anybody and everybody touches the sterile equipment and I have yet to see any saline water be used to clean the cut. Hallway floors are cleaned regularly but the rooms are cleaned once a week for what I have noticed. The garbages are oversized thus emptied on occasion and the bathrooms are filthy with paper overflowing garbages and the locks are mostly unusable. This is my first time as a patient but have visited quite many friends who have been hospitalized here and they have the same opinion about this hospital "this place is where you come to starve and suffer" The only good thing here is the nurse and doctor staff that really do love their jobs cause they do make more than what they can with what they have. The first few questions when you come in are in the normal except when they ask if you as a patient have ever had verbal or phisycal issues with hospital staff elsewhere before. I'm am sorry for the nurses and doctor staff working here cause with procedures like they have here they are in a position to be argued

Came in at 11pm with a toddler who has croup. I knew I would be waiting for a bit, but it’s been 4 1/2 hours so far. They already gave my kiddo the croup steriod while sitting in the waiting room. It seems to have kicked in, so I’m not sure why I am still here. They placed us in a “quarantined room” with no tv or ability to here names being called.

I brought my wife to the ER with a broken rib, and partially collapsed lung. They got her in immediately, was treated very well, and are now back home. I am very thankful for the hospital, and staff in the ER.
