I showed up at her studio without an appointment. But she was so generous to let me in haha.. beautiful collection of jewelry and absolutely loved customer service.

By far the best experience I had during my wedding shopping was with Hookum Design. Benita is such a patient soul, will go out of her way to find pieces that will compliment your outfits and the knowledge, expertise and genuine care shows in how Benita treats her clients. Being an out of town bride, she made my experience so calming and made sure she was available at all hours of the day and even shipped the pieces to our house. I got my wedding jewelry designed and made by her and it was the most seamless process, she had the jewelry ready two months in advance in case we needed to make changes and also adjusted her schedule to accommodate me for when my family and I flew in for a late evening pick up of the pieces we ordered. I would highly recommend Benita for all your jewelry needs!

Had an excellent shopping experience today. The shop has a lot of unique pieces. The owner is also super friendly and helpful. I like the personal shopping experience (appointment only store). I recommend Hookum Design Studio when looking for timeless pieces!

Purchased my reception jewerly from Benita in a panic when my stuff didn’t arrive from India on time. She shipped it out, and the next day I got it! The piece I got I have not seen at other places so it is definitely unique and the high quality.

My family had a wonderful experience today with Banita (sorry if I spelled your name wrong)! She was very patient with 3 adults (myself, mother, and cousin sister) trying to decide on one Jewellery set for my Takha. I usually do not wear jewellery, nor do I usually like going to Indian Jewellery stores, but I had a lovely time shopping today at Hookum Design. I will definitely be coming back here if I ever need anything. The shop itself is so clean, and Banita carries a wide selection of items. She's got some pretty funky stuff! Benita was amazing!! She took time helping us find pieces of jewelry that we love and though we stayed late she never made us feel rushed. I love that she can match colours in our outfits. I don’t think that the experience could have been any better. We will definitely be back!!

Had an amazing experience both times I’ve gone. First time was a couple years ago was not able to find anything that I found stuck out with my black lengha but didn’t feel pressured at all to purchase anything either. Went this year for my cousins wedding and found all my jewellery from here for both wedding and reception and also for my mom and cousin. She has such unique pieces and also so kind. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for unique pieces and also amazing customer service.
