Just came there to order for the first time. My husband finally convinced me to try it (I was never interested since day 1) after many attempts, and it was getting late and nowhere to find any rotisseries, I finally gave in..So I ordered 9 piece feast with salad, taters & gravy. The salad is only small container good for 1 person. The box of taters has a LONG BLACK STRING OF HAIR.Taters and chickens are soooo oily. Like drenched in oil. Like a day old chicken and just deep fried it again!We also go a grilled chicken sandwich that had hardly any toppings on it ..(1 slice of tomato & few bits of onions and was put together in a sloppy way!All these for almost $63... the place is messy, 3 workers are there kust chatting.. only 4 customers, and they dnt have time to clean up? The 2 indian ladies have their hair in a bun and one guy at the back.Aren't workers supposed to wear a hair net??? Just nasty..NEVER AGAIN..

Nice and quiet enough for a pause in a busy city. The food taste is good and the portion size satisfying, the taters are something different from the usual french fries, definitely better. It worth the price.

Delicious fried chicken, coleslaw, Mac n cheese, and taters. Clean restaurant. Parking is a bit awkward but at least there are several spots. Communication is a bit off- when asking for 3 piece meal 35 minutes before close, the staff had to leave the till, talk to the girl behind in the kitchen and figure out if this chicken place had chicken. The cashier compromised with 4 smaller pieces for the price of 3. Maybe it was an off day, but the girl in the kitchen seemed to not want to find a solution/do the order. I did feel the size of the pieces didn't quite make up the right amount I'd paid for, but was happy they at least tried. I'd go there again.

I try to often to stay away from any franchise based restaurant(s) but after many years of debating I went to take it off my list. The cashier was pleasant but the cook in the back got my order wrong regardless if was the only customer in the restaurant. SmhThe chicken sandwich was crispy slightly dry (most likely cause they don't marinate it in buttermilk) the seasoning was ok and not as greasy which was surprising. The potatoes wedges is what I expected dusted with seasoning and flour drenched to make it crispy. From a franchise stand point its a lot better than the big 3. But still ways from the chicken sandwich(s) restaurants that specializes in them like Chica , Clucks, Chen Chen.None the less still good.

June 6,2023 2pm order 3 white meat spicy n 2 pcs special. 5 pcs altogether.Requested fresh.I didn't get fresh at all. Pieces were super crispy, hard Not fresh at all.Never going back.You ask popeyes fresh. You always get fresh.Disappointed!

I was eating their spicy chicken sandwich and after a few bites I felt something stringy in my mouth. When I pulled it out it was a hair. I was disgusted. I returned to the store to tell them and show them what I had found and the girl in the back that was preparing the food looked annoyed that I had returned it. She then started speaking in her language to the cashier. I didn't appreciate that but didn't feel like yelling either. I know it wasn't my hair because the color was different and my hair is longer. I will never eat there again.

I was so very pleasantly surprised by Mary Brown’s. Who knew that every day, all day each shop butchers their own chickens, marinates them, cuts all their own potatoes and chops cabbages for coleslaw. Now this is a place that actually cares. I think it is cool that the family in Newfoundland that began the business still owns and ensures deliciousness. Now, eat a Big Mary. A wicked perfect sandwich, get extra pickles for sure then grab a bag of warm, cinnamony Sweet Mary’s.Please follow @joannasable on Instagram for more food fun.

This is the first time I tried it. Location was 11 industrial St#1, East york, ON. I ordered 3 orders of 2 piece of signature chicken & small taters. They did not prepare it fresh. Chicken was bit saggy and taste less and bit raw, nothing like good fried chicken. I regret I wasted my money and time.

Quick service and friendly staff. Chicken was okay, pieces were small. I got the 2 Piece Meal for $11.79. It came with taters and a side of either mac & cheese salad or coleslaw + can of pop. I like that the chicken wasn't too oil or too salty however, it wasn't crispy. The chicken was juicy and moist but it's subpar compared to the other chicken fast food chains, when it comes to taste and texture. The mac & cheese was good, tastes identical to the one from KFC.

The food at Mary Brown's was delicious. No service problems.Clearly, the restaurant was NOT very clean and needed a crew and Mr. Clean to wash down the walls, doors and door frames and front of counters. I took my lunch to go based on the hygiene of the restaurant.
