We went for an evening walk along the Trans Canada Trail and stumbled along the Patterson Wharf Park. It's such a nicely maintained, well lite area that is very romantic to sit and watch the water at night

Sunset at Patterson Wharf Park is incredible and relaxing. From here you can walk the trail in both directions for a ways, to the bridge on one side and to the Creamery on the other, a great spot to discover Tatamagouche from!

A cute little park on the river that is a great stop for a picnic on one of their few picnic tables. The bugs were a little heavy when we visited, but that's nothing a little spray can't help with. It is very peaceful on the riverside and my wife and I enjoyed stopping by for a while and watching the various trail users go by, before joining the trail ourselves.

Awesome little park that you can get to right off the trail if you are on ATV. Perfect spot to stretch your legs and have a bite to eat. No bathroom on site, but not a big deal honestly. Close enough to the town that if you need to you could swing in there.

Patterson Wharf Park
Quiet spot for lunch with picnic tables and public bbq. Small viewing platform over the river is great for watching seals bald eagles and other wildlife. It also sits next to the trans Canada trail.
