One Leg Up Canine Co. – Dog Training & Daycare

My son & I enrolled in the puppy socialization training with Camille as our instructor and we adore ❤️ Camille! She is passionate about helping humans create harmonious relationships with their fur family. She is knowledgeable, calm, supportive & kind. We noticed immediate improvements with our pocket bully puppy and we will be happily attending the next sessions with Camille as our teacher.

Our trainer was Stephanie, we signed up for three in person private sessions. I recently adopted a rescue, Milo, and he was pretty nervous at meeting new people and I had no idea how to communicate with him. Stephanie took the time to understand our experiences with him and helped us find tips and tricks to make the transition easier for him. She also took the time to show us how to train him things like his name and touch and how to improve our techniques. At our last lesson she guided me as I taught him how to stand and I completely felt like I had all the tools I needed. Today I taught him “paw” something he never did before using all the skills she told me and I couldn’t believe it! The training was so helpful and I greatly appreciate the skills I have gained from it!

What a wonderful experience for us and our pup - in just 2 lessons, Marilyn had our little terrier responding to us as we asked. Ollie is a wee work in progress, however can't say enough about Marilyn - she trained US and Ollie along the way. To say I had a few a ha!" moments is an understatement - we collectively learned so much

We've had 6 private training sessions with Marilyn for our pup, and highly recommend her services. Worth every penny! She understood our dog in a way previous trainers haven't, and applied a personalized approach to his needs. Her training and suggestions have yielded real results, and we believe wholly in her methods.

Marilyn is a fantastic trainer and dog daycare provider. Our dog loved attending school. He picked up many good habits from daycare, including patiently waiting and improved impulse control. Positive reinforcement training is used throughout the day and I felt happy having our dog attend somewhere I knew he would be safe, would learn in a positive environment, and also have fun. Marilyn truly cares about the pupps and treats them like family. There is an initial suitability assessment to ensure good fits with other dogs. And they are happy to provide feedback and answer any questions along the way. Blown away by the level of customer service and caring in this facility. Thank you!

Camille was an awesome instructor for our two Golden Doodles. Patient, understanding and knowledgeable during all training activities. We lost out on many in person classes but the online classes were organized and well planned.Highly recommended as the tips and tricks we learned during training are easily transposed to new learning for the puppies.

We attended classes with our other dog a few years ago and knew that we needed to go back with our new guy. We had a fantastic experience with Camille leading us and our Remy in the puppy social skills class. Lots of positive reinforcement for both Remy and us as owners! We have moved on to the Life Skills class and looking forward to building upon the skills we have already learned and helping Remy to gain confidence in the world. Thanks Camille and Marilyn!

Our experience at One Leg Up Canine puppy training and socials was so helpful ,practical ,easy to follow and really made a big difference to the behaviour of our puppy. Camille made the class and socials fun and informative but also made it such a comfortable ,safe sharing space. It felt like family and my puppy Macie loved Camille so much she would do anything for her .Camille made time for every puppy and human in the room and I always left training thinking I got this!! We have attended Life Skills, Scent Detection, and Rally courses at One Leg Up with our 1-year-old sheltie Luna. Marilyn and her staff have a great hands-on approach and demonstrate their clear expertise with all kinds of dogs. We've both learned a lot and look forward to attending more classes in the future!

A wonderful place for dog training, daycare, puppy socialization. Marilyn is so very helpful for both the dogs and the humans involved. The facilities are always clean and she utilizes them well for training. Lewis can't wait to take a circus class! As you can see in the picture, he has tons of fun at daycare!
