About a year ago, I was on the hunt for a company to do renovations in our house. We knew what we wanted and needed to find the right team to make our vision a reality. That in itself was a huge undertaking....contractors that didn't show up for the initial meeting, ridiculous timelines and budget, and my favorite.....'you don't want it like that....but we can do it like this'. So after many interviews, we came across a company referred to us by our Real Estate Agent Kayla Osborne, from Property. ca Realty as they had done work for a few of her fellow agents. We met with Sim and Thanu from Agora Design Build, and after performing my due diligence, we knew they were the ones. They turned our home into a showpiece and we are thrilled with the results. We've heard horror stories of renovations gone bad, and even expected some mini predicaments along the way....but thankfully the mishaps were uneventful and never put a damper on the progress. This team was always 2 steps ahead of us....communicating and standing by our side the whole way. They gave us everything we envisioned as well as a few things we didn't know we wanted! They are honest, hardworking and respectful individuals who feel like family now......a far cry from all the scammers out there today. We can’t say enough great things about this team and we highly recommend them to anyone who is going through the renovation or building process. After several months since completion we are still in awe and still hard to believe this is what we created!

The team at Agora design renovated my family room and main floor powder room, they did a fantastic job and brought our vision to life. We had our bathroom completely renovated with Agora Design Build. Sim and the Team made this a stress and anxiety free experience for us from our very first meeting until the project was finished on-time and on-budget. Our new bathroom is absolutely beautiful and we love it! Every contractor who came into our house was professional, polite and did excellent work. We mostly worked with Sim as the lead on our project...I can't state strongly enough how wonderful he was to work with. He is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and always the consummate pro. His calm and warm manner made this project an actual enjoyable experience for us and he never made us feel silly for asking questions (as some contractors do!). Nothing was too much for us to ask. Agora was fantastic - they renovated my condo from top to bottom in summer 2022. They were lovely to deal with - professional, responsive and no pressure. They answered all my questions, emails & texts quickly & confidently.They met the deadlines, used quality products, and their work was well done. Agora Design Build made our living room re-do one of the most enjoyable experiences. They are true craftsmen in all the trades involved, communication was excellent, and our home was always treated as if it were their own which allowed us to have complete peace of mind. They went above and beyond to not only deliver the renovation of our dreams (without us even knowing always how to verbalize what we wanted exactly), but along the way they did all the little extras, keeping the house spotless at the end of each day, and going the extra mile to make sure every aspect of the room was attended to.The work was done in a professional manner, we knew exactly the cost of each phase of the project and the final results were steeped in perfection. Now that all is done, we each and every day enjoy the results of the project and consider ourselves lucky.

We worked with Agora Design Build on splitting a single family home into three rental units. What separated Agora from other potential contractors for us was their in-depth walkthrough and transparent quoting process.We ended up demolishing stairs, building new walls, adding a new kitchen, bathrooms, HVAC, windows and flooring throughout the house. Throughout the project were impressed by Sim and Thanu's proactive communication and speed in raising and resolving any potential issues with the reno which allowed us to stay well within our budget!Their team of tradespeople are professional, hard working and kind. And it was always a pleasure to visit the site. They are super clean too!

Great service from Agora designs! Remodelled our guest bathroom, updating it to a sleek modern bathroom that my wife and I love! They handled everything efficiently and professionally from demolition, to tiling and installation of new water fixtures. The team also talked us through the process and gave great recommendations on fan placement and adding an electrical outlet that we weren't thinking of at the time but didn't know how wee lived without it before! Would highly recommend!

We used Agora Build Design for our major home Reno for a beautiful 18th century home in Hamilton.Sim and Thanu were very professional and such an amazing team to work with.We did brand new walls, flooring, fixtures and electrical! Also two brand new bathrooms.The boys were diligent, communicative and there were always tradesmen at home doing work. In todays day and age its hard to find good contractors and good tradesmen, but Agora Design Build fulfills both!Sim and Thanu are a pleasure to work with and I will be using them for all my future home renovation projects! :)

The Agora Team delivered excellent quality of work and professionalism. Agora saved our home and our sanity. After an unfortunate and enduring experience with a terrible general contractor, Agora swooped in to complete our project. They were hired to finish a side addition on our home, marrying 100+ year old infrastructure to brand-new framing. Agora completed the project within the promised time-frame, priced the project fairly, and and did it all with a friendly, hardworking crew that knew what they were doing. This team's professionalism, prowess and communication practices, coupled with an earnest work ethic, made them a pleasure to work with.
