The Moncton Hospital: Emergency Room

Worst worst worst ever emergency hospital !!!!went there because my baby really sick and has a fever and super running nose and been waiting almost 12 hours omg this is not emergency hospital this is totallly ridicullous !!!!need more doctors for this facility

Super long waiting time.Absolutely non-skilled receptionist and surly stuff.Worst experience ever

Sister in law is in hospital they won't give us information on her. We live in another province.

Terrible wait times waited 12 hours just to get an xray and a cast done. Only go in the morning before shift change or if you're seriously in trouble there's literally 1 doctor I repeat one doctor for all of moncton that's 80,000 + people and only one doctor on at night time and they obviously will only take whoever is in worse condition first. Also might be a good idea to bring a pillow and a cushion for your seat cause the seats are awful to wait on after 4 hours you'll be wanting to laydown or something else, but that's your only option

My husband waited 15 HOURS in the emergency room. You have to wait 15 HOURS. We came to this city for work but I regret every minute of it. The public services are the worst in Canada.

Went in this evening for my oldest and had to bring my 4 littles aged 5-2 as well....Other than sitting and waiting from 7pm-1am in what felt like an empty ER, the nurses and staff were wonderful. All were very friendly with my children, gave them popsicles and put on the children channels.When my oldest was in pain to the point of uncontrollable crying, the staff noticed and got her seen by a nurse for a check up and pain medication. She was able to finally rest without pain.Around 12 am one of the nurses even made me a coffee which I appreciated immensely.The doctor was gentle, kind and noticed my daughter had an infection immediately.The evening could have been a lot worse, had the nurses/staff/dr not been the amazing people they are.

Emergency care is joke, 10 to 12hrs waiting time in emergency,In Moncton almost two years waiting time to get family doctor and if you don’t have family doctor then your only hope is emergency care. In which only you get is WAITING.

It took me 14 hours to get through the Green Door. It was a very hard experience. However, all the staff I met after that were so kind and helped me get a CT scan. In particular, I have a phobia of injections, and Jay was a top expert. Thank you all.

Very terrible service. Waiting time to the emergency more than 1 hours very hard for people. But here you could wait about 10-12 hours.
