I had such an amazing experience with Burlington midwives! Candice and Shaunika went above and beyond anything I expected. They answered my many calls in the middle of the night, provided home visits and postpartum care for 6 weeks following birth. These were all such added benefits to my pregnancy experience. I would highly recommend the Burlington Midwives.

Both of my experiences with Burlington Midwives were exceptional. With my first I had Candice (2017) and just recently delivered my second with Tracey, Caelyn and student Megan. They really took the time to make sure I was confident in my pregnancy and delivery by explaining every little detail and really listening to the kind of labour I was hoping for. I am glad to say that I had the most wonderful labour and delivery and would not hesitate to recommend Burlington Midwives to anyone.Megan will make an incredible Midwife. She is knowledgeable, confident, and compassionate.Thanks again for a lovely experience, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

My two births are and will continue to be the most amazing day of my life thanks to the gentle support of Sarah Cross and Lucia. Both Midwives are so extremely skilled and ensure that you are informed, but allow for decisions to be collaborative. Having had now both a hospital and home delivery, their professionalism and expertise in both scenarios was exceptional. Thank you for contributing so positively to my pregnancy and birth!

I am so happy that I choose the midwives for the birth of my daughter. The care here is so compassionate, you aren't just a number to them. They take care to explain everything to you and make you aware of all of your options. They provide recommendations and give you time to take it away and make a decision. Plus their postpartum care is top notch, far surpassing what you would get from an obgyn. Would choose them again in a heartbeat.

I had both of my kids with them and both of my experiences were very positive. I had Sarah and Emma the last time and they were both amazing! Emma delivered both of my kids and she is a true professional. I felt well taken care of throughout my pregnancy, at the deliver and also postpartum. I love that they took their time with every appointment. They also really care about not just the baby, but how the mother is doing at every step both physically and emotionally. You can tell that they truly loves their jobs. I would highly recommend them to any of my expecting friends. Thank you for providing me with such seamless and painless experiences!

I had two separate pregnancies and birth experiences with Burlington Midwives and they were top notch! I was treated with so much dignity and care. Every call, email and concern was responded to promptly. I felt safe and advocated for the entire time from pregnancy to delivery and the after care and support for myself and both my babies was amazing. Giving birth at the local hospital felt pretty seamless and they had no hesitations calling in OBGYN when needed to help me. I will use midwives for every pregnancy moving forward. I couldn't have asked for better care throughout my pregnancy, labour and post partum. Diane and Ashley were absolutely amazing and I continue to rave about them to all of my pregnant friends!

This review comes 5 years later, but I had my first son with a midwife. Pregnancy was great, no complications. And my midwife was sweet as pie. Now labor was a whole different story, I called my midwife on my due date and she seemed to think I was joking that I was in labor.. so we waited.. and surely I was in labor. Went to the hospital after 8 hours of labor got there at 7 am. My midwife shows up and after all the complications of getting me settled and yadda yadda, now comes time to deliver the baby. Tried pushing this kid out for what was hours, just to find out he wasn't even positioned correctly. Luckily we had some drs and the obgyn came in to deliver my son and if she had not come in when she did I'm not sure my son would even be here with us. Used an obgyn for my second pregnancy and had a much much better time with the whole thing. Everyone has a different experience and I really loved the support before and after having the child... but when it comes to delivering the baby I would never use a midwife again.

It was first and one of an experience. Midwives were complete a life saver for my sister considering she didn't had OHIP coverage. Burlington Midwives were professional and took care of everything, delivering a healthy baby at home. I would definitely recommend them to have birth at home.

Currently seeing Shanika and Candace for my first pregnancy and they have been an incredible support and resource to have. I originally lived in Toronto and had a midwife that had won several awards and whatnot but she did not communicate as well as this team does nor did she make me feel as comfortable as Shanika and Candace. I am so glad I had to relocate and find new midwives because my pregnancy experience has significantly improved since seeing them.Thanks for always being on the ball and explaining everything so that I can leave with peace of mind knowing exactly what is going on and what is coming up next.
