If I could give a zero star rating I would. The rudest, condescending and incompetent people at the office.No sympathy or empathy at all, they should work at a call center not in a health care environment.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Unreliable, unprofessional and extremely disappointing. Still waiting for a call back from my Moms case manager from over a week ago.

They suck

They force environmental visits" even during covid even though they were already at your home 2 times in previous month's and make it so you don't have a choice if you want your nursing hours you have to comply other wise it's held over your head! and done against your will They don't care about potentially exposing medically fragile people in the least my loved one ends up on a ventilator and in the critical care unit every time they are sick they have knowledge of this and don't respect this fact it's ironic. they work at home to protect themselves and their families but don't give you the choice to protect yours!!!Also they breach privacy and confidentiality of the patient and yourself as the caregiver and there are NO repercussions."

My family was masterfully guided through the LHIN process, providing my father with 2 years of absolute comfort in his home before passing. He was adamant about staying out of a nursing home for his end-of-life, and with the assistance of LHIN, private caretakers and family members - we were able to give my Dad 2 years of loving care at home. The Family-Managed Home Care plan provided us with full control of my Dad's healthcare. His personal savings were augmented by the funding from LHIN and we were able to hire loving and empathetic caregivers and nurses that Dad enjoyed spending time with.By remaining in his home with caregivers hired by my family, Dad was able to enjoy his favorite home-cooked meals; he could laugh and converse about subjects he and his caregivers care about; he was able to have visitors come and go and was able to enjoy wheelchair walks whenever he wanted. For 2 years he was able to sleep in his own bed and was cared for by people who truly loved him.Self-directed care is not easy, but with patience and guidance from LHIN, we were able to make it work for my Dad. His journey ended in October, in the loving care and comfort of his home, his caregivers and his family. He did it his way - and it would have never happened with LHIN. My family is forever grateful.
