C.O.B.R.A. Self Defense Alberta

My daughter had a lot of fun at this self defence course. It has made her feel more confident and as if she has more knowledge of how to protect herself if the unfortunate circumstances comes across. I however think it would be beneficial if the course was a 2 day program so that they could cover a little more. Thank you!

Ladies night self defence was extremely informative and lots of hands on techniques. I can’t wait for my kids to take his class. I highly recommend taking his courses!

This session exceeded my expectations. Worth every penny to provide your kids with the knowledge and skills they may need in a very dangerous situation. Make your kids a much more difficult target for predators by signing up for this course!

Chris and Mel were absolutely excellent! They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in getting the class participants to understand and practice not only the concepts but also the actual mechanics of the techniques. Went with my 74 year old mom and 20 year old daughter to ladies night and all 3 of us had a blast!

The course was fantastic and I truly wish every teenage girl I knew could take it! So much important and real information to keep these girls safe in our ever changing and sometimes scary world, gives me a little piece of mind my daughter has some tools in her tool box to protect herself and be more aware! And the fact they physically practice it is so important, most girls have never “fought” so knowing what it actually feels like is so important. Chris’s professional experience and knowledge brings so much more to this class.

My 7 yo kid went to the Child Abduction Prevention training the other day. We loved it. It is a great training for any kid to do. In 2 hours the coach taught the kids what to do in a dangerous situation, spoke about principles of safety, how to recognize dangerous situation and how to act and also practiced it with kids. Time and money spent absolutely worth it. And gave me more peace of mind about the safety of my kid. Great coach, great program!

I highly recommend COBRA Self- Defense. Therewere lots of games and times for practicing each defense technique. Coach Chris explained the content in a way all age groups could understand. My 10 year old left feeling empowered and I learned a lot from staying & observing. Sign your child up with a friend. This course is one of the best gifts you can give your child!

I invited COBRA to do a presentation to my group of Girl Guides. The presentation was amazing and very informative. It was the perfect mix of guided discussion and physical participation. It was a difficult reality to accept that even I, as an adult, had become really complacent in taking in my surroundings. I was impressed with how engaged the girls remained during the class. I am hopeful they’ve all learned some things that will stick with them or that it maybe even inspired them to further their self defence education by enrolling in some of the more involved programs offered. This a wonderful service that is provided and I am grateful for that. Anything offered to keep our most valuable and vulnerable protected is a worthwhile investment.I will certainly be recommending your services to other facilitators and parents. Thank you!
